We know how you feel. You don't have to explain. You know what kind of "fan" we are talking about.

I give a tip of the hat to you for what you did today!

Cool. And yes, I know what kind of fan you're talking about. Trust me....if any of the Steeler fans that I know ever talk about jumping ship......they'll get an earful. I hate when people only root for winners. I mean, you like who you like......that's your team, cheer for that team, stick with them through thick and thin no matter what. That's what being a fan is about. To me, it wouldn't even be gratifying if you just cheered for whoever was winning. That's just lame.

Amen Ewok...true fans can unerstand and respect each other...it's the idiot bandwagon fans that get on everyone's nerves.

If you were at that game Thursday night, you were a true Browns fan. Your team was 1-11, it was 10 freakin degrees outside with wind chills below zero, it was a weeknight, (work the next day) and we hadn't beaten the Steelers in 6 years. Pretty easy for the milquetoast, casual Browns fan to stay home. The true fans that were in the stadium Thursday night got a real treat that they will remember for a long time. What's going to annoy me is when the Browns get good again (someday), there will be all kinds of people wearing their Browns stuff and acting like they have been fans their whole life, even though they turned their back on the Browns during the hard times. Screw them.

I should probably qualify my comment a little...if you had tickets and didn't go, and didn't have a real good reason, then yes, I will question your fanhood. Of course every single die hard Browns fan can't go to every game. My post was intended to be more of a complement to those who were there than a slam against those who weren't.
