When you squander a good lead, pitching gives up 6 runs and you're playing d like the bad news bears it's not your night. -

hahaha...no, but I do miss thedave. -
iclfan2LaPorta put a charge in that one. Dead center.

Not as much as you miss shelbucks ! -
TBone14Tribe players should be insulted that Ron Washington left this cat in there for his 3rd inning of relief. He is carving up the lefties, though. Gotta get another one off him.

hoops23LaPorta has some crazy power. He could be a 25+ homer guy once he gets consistent at the plate.
This is why leaving CC in too long kills us though. -

I was just discussing that with my friend. SMH. Should be a 4-4 ballgame right now.
Cleveland really needs Pronk in the lineup. At the very least he opens it up for other guys in the lineup. -
MulvaNeftali Feliz has been borderline untouchable this year, so we'd best get these 2 runs back in the 8th.

When LaPorta goes up the middle or opposite field, he really puts a charge into it. He needs to go up there and think up the middle. He is very strong. -

I already put this in the 'L' column.
Texas owns us. No matter how good or bad they are. -
TBone14DP ends the top of the 8th. Let's get the sticks out boys.

It does always seem that way. Oliver's been real good against us in his career too.
Although that's a good start. -
TBone14Another damn lefty. This ones birth certificate was written on papryus. Let's get after his old ass, here.
-
iclfan2Choo starts off the 8 with a single. Maybe they can chip away at the lead.
-
hoops23Hopefully my pessimism for this game works in the Tribes favor.
-
MulvaGrady is abysmal against lefties. I would have had him bunting here.

That is just far from the truth...but I still dont think we win. I know cause he is on my fantasy team, and has kind of sucked.
"RHP Neftali Feliz worked through the middle of the Tampa Bay lineup on the way to picking up a save in a 3-0 Rangers' victory. The 2010 AL Rookie of the Year has been struggling with all kinds of issues this season, from a sore shoulder to a drop in velocity, an over-reliance on his fastball and a seeming inability or unwillingness to throw inside on hitters.Feliz has blown three saves in the last two weeks, all against Kansas City. He also allowed the go-ahead run to score in another game against the Royals.

MulvaAnd that's more or less why. Nice AB, boss.
-
wes_mantoothgrady with a whiff....shocking
-
iclfan2Ugh Sizemore.
-
hoops23God Grady. Clutch hits are not His forte. I mean seriously, I called that K when Grady was walking to the plate. I called te pitch that he would k on as well
Does he not know how to shorten his swing? -
Mulva
His only blown saves of the year are against KC (as crazy as that is all 3 came against them). He's had some control problems, but his BAA is still below .200 for the season I'm pretty sure.Laley23;789114 wrote:That is just far from the truth...but I still dont think we win. I would say when opposing teams are hitting .180 or whatever the number is right now against you you're borderline untouchable. -

He has had 2 guys on all year though. Mostly through walks, I admit...so he isnt giving up hits maybe. But he hasnt been great. Ks are way down as well.
A WHIP of 1.37 and ONLY 9 Ks all season versus 14 walks.
I can honestly only think of 2 games he went 1-2-3 in the 9th this year. So chances are we will at least have a CHANCE. But only KC has come through on their chances thus far, so hopefully we make it a AL Central thing. -
hoops23Double play. I'm calling it. Should have bunted Grady.
