Karen Lotz better be or I wasted votes in the bandwagon competition.

Ha ha at Cleveland fans on Sportscenter. "If (LeBron) loses, Cleveland wins." Nope. You still suck waaaaay more, Cleveland.

Ha ha more at Wade and LeBron making fun of Dirk's cough before the game.....and the Sportscenter bitch saying, "How'd that work out for ya?"

Not really. If Lebron loses what did he "win" in Miami? Two more games in the Finals versus the zero the Cavs won when they played the Spurs in the Finals? End result = 2nd place loser = same result in the end.

Well, the comment was that Cleveland wins if LeBron loses. No, they don't, Cleveland still sucks.
Aside from that, the comparison isn't to what LeBron did in his best year in Cleveland. It is a comparison to where Cleveland is now. Sorry, there's a difference between being one of the worst and being the second best.
Finally, this isn't the defining year of whether or not LeBron made the right move. I'm sure he's still going to like his odds being in Miami versus being in Cleveland. Even if he never wins a title, that doesn't make Cleveland a winner.

For the last 2 games this is all I've been hearing and it hasn't happened yet. I don't see it happening in game 6 or game 7 if there is one. Hell right now I'd be shocked if Lebron scored over 30 points. Best player maybe but he sure hasn't seemed like he wants to show us that is the best player in the world right now.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. If this new CBA shakes out, as planned, with a lower salary (hard) cap/no luxury tax, it's going to play against the CHeat's ability to improve (free agents, etc).

Exactly. I'd be VERY surprised if he went off.

It's completely understandable why Cleveland fans are rooting against LeBron. But the thing to keep in mind is that he took Cleveland's best chance at winning an NBA title with him when he walked out that door.

So, even though some Cavs' fans may feel like they're "winning" if/when he loses....the damage he did has been done regardless and Cleveland's situation doesn't improve each time he doesn't win a title or when he doesn't play great.

I don't care either way as I don't like/dislike the Heat or the Mavs. Just enjoying an entertaining series. Not a LeBron fan or hater either.

I agree. I've seen a few of the talking heads say that it would take more than this year for the Heat to really gel into a champion. To me, this is the best opportunity because they caught the league with the top few teams on the decline while some other younger teams that are building don't have nearly the talent. Problem is, LA and Boston will likely bounce back soon AND those young teams are going to gain experience as well (in addition to your point about the Heat not necessarily having the leverage to improve). As it turns out, looks like Dallas is the team that is really benefitting from this sort of transitional year.

The Heat may just be seeing their best chance go out the window this year. But that still doesn't mean he'd have been any closer to the title in Cleveland. I'd say LeBron likes his odds better in Miami - whether or not it comes to fruition is obviously still undecided.

I completely agree with your post except for your last part. I love the Mavs and really want them to win but I do love that this series has been so entertaining every game has been incredible to watch. As for me I am a Lebron "hater" but I have hated him ever since he was in HS. Then we he went to the Cavs for 7 years I got to hear about how he was the GOAT and all the other stuff that they said, you couldn't even have a logic discussion with most Cavs fan about him.

A LOT of people on here have said they aren't Mavs fans and aren't rooting for the Mavs. Not saying you were one of them, just pointing it out to everyone that was adamant about it. They know who they are.

And where were Cavs fans wrong about him? Choke artist? Check. Not clutch? Check.

BR the thing is back then it was the opposite it is now. You couldn't say that stuff about him without having a ton of backlash about it from Cavs fans. I know you have always been very critical of him but you are one of the few.

I was critical of parts of his game, but I loved starting over the top goat threads! I now have those for ben GOATson.

Oh, I understand this. Believe me, he had a TON of us fooled and the truth about him didn't come out until after he left.

I, too, was enamored with his athleticism but was also critical of how "clutch" he was, his ability to "close", his shitty free throw shooting, his resistance to go down and post up and his fear of taking the ball to the hole (see shitty FT shooting). PHENOMENAL athlete, but just a "Robin", NOT a "Batman."

Haha yeah you did I normally never took anything you said seriously so don't worry about it. I'm also speaking about a lot of my friends who aren't on the OC. One of them is the worst though because hes that "SQ I'm only a Lebron fan" type guy. Sadly he annoyed me so much I bought a Dirk jersey for the finals just to wear it around him.

Speaking of which, if the CHeat bow out early without a ring will the "Legend in his own mind" return?

Personally I think he has already returned under the new name "salemfreak" he posted on a Pryor thread in the CFB forum and it just seemed like him plus I'm pretty sure SQ is from salem.

LOL....Chris Broussard just called Kyra Sedgwick a better "Closer" than LeBron on ESPN FirstTake

Rob Parker was the one who said that.

BR, I know you posted this 'joke' already, but it's too good not to repost

Former Jets OT Damien Woody on LeBron: "If you ask LeBron James for a dollar, he'll only give you 75 cents; he never gives you the fourth quarter." Ouch.

I thought you didn't watch anything that has to do with LeBron? You sure spend a lot of time talking about him, reading about him, and listening to stuff about him for someone who feels that way.
