People seem to forget that the Mavs blew a 23 point second half lead against the Trail Blazers early in the first round up 2-1 in the series. The reaction was similar to the Heat's today. "Dirk disappearing in the 4th quarter" "Rick Carlisle's undoing" were some of the reactions to the game. Obviously the Mavs went on to win 7 straight after that and responded to that adversity. Sometimes team become complacent when things are going so well and need some adversity to refocus on what they do best.

I really don't think so. The game was tied at Half.

I agree with that. I wouldn't look into what ESPN is saying, they simply need stuff to talk about.

Game 2 will not lead to some sort of meltdown. But, the homecourt for the Mavs will probably lead to better shooting and production and that is what is worrisome for the Heat.

That was pretty fucking awesome. I hope that the Mavs can gain control early in game 3 and build on this momentum.

I watched the 2nd half of this game in downtown Cleveland on my way home from the Tribe game, made for a very entertaining night

    Go Mavs!

Had to have been awesome. I turned the game off in the 4th, I really wish I had stayed up to watch the finish though.

It felt like a Cavs game. The "Miami sucks" and "Brons a bitch" chants were non stop

Just like you'd think Lebron James would "get over it" but EVERY time he has a chance to throw his former supporting cast (Cavaliers) underneath the bus for "not being good enough" to the national media, he DOES it.

Maybe Cleveland will get over it when Lebron does?

Yep. Do people really wonder why Cleveland fans hate this guy?

The Decision was bad enough, the comments and shit that followed has been even worse

I think hes a douche too, but Cavs fans getting and STAYING this upset at him just makes them look almost as immature as he was for his "decision"

And didnt he apologize to the Cavs here relatively recently?Even if it kinda sounded like BS. Or no?(dont remember exactly)

No, for the most part they are mostly a bunch of ignorant hypocrites.

Its what you do. Come in with your partner in crime, blast people and use pwn 20 times. Or act like a sarcastic ass, which in this case was what you did.

And I highly doubt it will EVER die down completely. Unless you've experienced it you can't EVEN begin to imagine. His Decision was a total kick in the dick that can't really be fathomed by those who haven't been a Cleveland fan. In order of hatred for Cleveland fans it usually ranks 1. Art Modell 2. Lebron James 3-4. Pittsburgh Steelers or Baltimore Ravens and Michael Jordan, John Elway, Jose Mesa, etc follow.

I dont expect it to evvvver completely die down, but its pretty bad of late, probably bc its still a relatively fresh wound. I can understand the hatred for him for taking jabs at Cleveland like in that article skyhook posted. But most are still mad that he left period(the judas remarks ect ect). As far as I can tell

But you're right, guess I really havent witnessed it first hand.
