  • Tiger2003
No Scott Rolen is not Hall of Fame material....
  • Early Cuyler
Scott Rolen isn't going to be in the hall-of-fame.
  • Rotinaj
Pry not, but he still has had a hell of a career.
  • Laley23
    God no.
  • Lovejoy1984
If he'd played up the middle, then probably a good shot, but if indeed it's Scott Rolen, answer is no.

What about this guy? (not active, here are career totals for 19 seasons)

    .262 batting average
    28 HR
    793 RBI
    1257 runs
    580 SBs
    13 gold gloves
  • Commander of Awesome
No to both. lol at you trying to bait ppl into saying rolen is a HOFer. Stop being a wimp and post the players name. Stats are for losers, when debating players I dont even look at stats. It should be a no brainer "Yes" when I think of the player. If I have to look at stats than the arguement is over.

This is the biggest question mark, because of position played. But honestly, Omar has to be in before him. As good with the glove (if not as good, almost) and better with the bat.

I'd like to see this. lol at the "clever" gay joke. /sarcasm.

Let me try and see if I can compete on the gay jokes.

"Hey Rock, nice avatar, is that part of your spank bank?" or how about this, "Rock, is your avatar your boyfriend?"

You're gay lover (or alter ego) Rawdawg picked out the avatar, maybe you should ask him (or yourself) if he's gay

Not. Bet if he were on a pittsburgh team they'd be coming out of the woodwork with reasons why he is.

The answer is actually .... YES. Ozzie Smith, who was already inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Right, and it is the biggest question in the HoF, imo. I think Omar has to be in because Ozzie is in. I guess I really didnt word that well at all, haha.

Not trying to bait anyone into anything. His numbers are comparable to other 3rd basemen in the HOF. I don't necessarily think he is HOF material, just interested to see what others thought. Also, that no brainer "yes" comes from stats, whether your actually look at them or just know that the guy has put up big numbers.

Yes. Pittsburgh fans are the only ones who possibly overrate their own players to HoF status. Which is why this is a thread started by a Reds fan using a current Red's career stats to ask if he should be in the Hall. And why a Cleveland fan used Ozzie Smith being in to say that Omar Vizquel (former Indian) should be in if he's in. But it's only Pittsburgh fans. Bravo!
