I am trying to explain that over time players struggle and are lights out. Right now Massett is struggling, but that doesn't mean he should be written off. He has proven he has dominant stuff, and he will likely return to form. He will likely do so well at some point, that fans on here will want him closing instead of Coco Cordero. Because Coco will struggle at times as well.

The guy is absolutely terrible every year out of the gate, no matter what kind of spring he has. Might as well just leave his ass in Goodyear, Arizona til late June.
We all know Masset has great stuff and will probably turn it around again. Still no excuse to not be able to throw strikes and/or leave flat fastballs over the heart of the plate at this level.
It just kills me because these games Masset has blown can very well come back to haunt us easily. Last year, those games were the difference between Cincy playing Atlanta or Philly in the first round of the postseason.
