Game 10 - Cincinnati Reds (Edinson Volquez) at San Diego Padres (Mat Latos)
-
Terry_TateLot of foul balls here
-
SportsAndLadyThat was smooth
-
Tiger200311 pitch at bat ends in a strike em out throw em out inning ending double play. On to the 9th.
-
Terry_TateHernandez has been money behind the plate tonight. Strike em out, throw em out to take it to the 9th.
-
mhs95_06What an 11 pitch battle between Bray and PH Cantu, ending in a strike-em-out, throw-em-out DP to end the inning! Two tag outs on the bases in the inning!
-
SportsAndLadyFormer Reds looked silly in that inning.
One failed to get a runner from 2nd to 3rd on a bunt..then got caught stealing
One struck out -

And it was Rolen who made him the hero rather than the goat! -

Cantu may have looked silly on the last pitch, but that was a great AB he had - took everything Bray had to get him! -
SportsAndLadyWTF kinda pitching shit is this lol
-
Terry_TateI wanna know how the hell you ever learn to pitch like that? Looks like that would be hell on your arm.
-
Terry_TateSo how many will be on base when Cordero ends this? I'm going with 2.
-
mhs95_06What is Coco's chance to get a save with a one run lead, about 62%? Defense makes it a lot better, so don't give them any free passes!
-
SportsAndLadyOh boy...
Here we go... -
mhs95_06Defense couldn't do anything about that 3-2 blooper!
-
SportsAndLadyCordero's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pitches were absolutely brilliant in that at bat.
-
mhs95_06Great pitch to K Headley for the first out!
-
SportsAndLadyClassic CoCo
-
SportsAndLadyGood pitch...2 down
-
Terry_TateOne to go!
-
mhs95_06Can pitch around Hawpe now.
-
Terry_TateGame! Huge win for the Reds.
-
SportsAndLadyNicely done, Reds.
Very good win -
mhs95_06Great job by Coco to effectively handle the lead-off batter blooping one in to put the save difficulty up a notch. Lot less chance the lead-off batter scores when he reaches on a hit as opposed to a walk.
-
mhs95_06How often in SD do you win with all your runs coming on HRs?
-
charliehustle14I swear I'm a curse to the Reds. Every game I've watched in its entirety this year, they've lost....including the loss I attended at home vs Houston to conclude the home stand. I flipped this game off and turn it back on just now to find out they won. WTH, I'll take it.
Sounds like Volquez was money outside of the first inning, once again lol
