Reds @ DBacks...Game 2

  • Terry_Tate
Young gets a blooper then goes first to third on a wild throw from bronson trying to pick him off first. Hopefully all the mistakes don't catch up to them.
  • mhs95_06
Arroyo able to pitch around all the other threats except the one from his two base error!
  • mhs95_06
Did BP make that tough play scooping with his wrist?
  • Terry_Tate
Nice play by Phillips. No margin for error there to get the out.
  • Tiger2003
Fuck You Jay Bruce....Why the fuck did I pick your bitch ass up....
  • mhs95_06
Arroyo to face the right handed pinch hitter, then bring a lefty in from the bullpen?
  • mhs95_06
Bray gets a call there that makes the difference between side out and runner on for Upton! Now the 8th needs to go such that Coco doesn't face the top of the order!

    Calm down 2003! Lol

Fantasy stuff makes people overly excited or angry about things they otherwise wouldn't care about.

This... Which us why I stopped playing. Plus I played when the reds sucked yet I picked all their players anyway. Haha

Good job by Chapman. Now Coco gets the bottom three spots in the order. The Reds are in trouble if it gets back to #1.
  • mhs95_06
This home plate ump is missing way more ball and strike calls than last night's ump.

Reds have to take advantage of this error
  • osu45804
    Jonny!!!!
  • mhs95_06
Three of the five runs tonight on errors by the pitchers!
  • osu45804
Nice 4 run 9th inning so far ....
  • mhs95_06
Heisey needs to be in for Stubbs or Bruce tomorrow!
  • osu45804
Good bounce back win.... 6-1 Final
  • mhs95_06
Bronson pitched 215 innings last year and had no errors, winning the gold glove. Do you think his bad error tonight has robbed him of any chance to win the gold glove this season?

what about in for Jonny Gomes?

Stubbs and Bruce are in way more of a funk than Gomes, and since it is a lefty they are facing today, I'd say Bruce, who is struggling the most, would be the one to sit.

    Only janish is sitting today.

    Bruce: .240
Gomes: .167 (has a nice OBP due to walking though)
    Stubbs: .265

While I would agree that Stubbs and Bruce have been scuffling a little, their averages aren't as bad as you might think. Bruce is probably going to hit .265 on the season and Stubbs will probably hover right around .270 as well. They're young guys and they just need to hit their way out of it.

Gomes has been walking but other than that, he's been pretty pedestrian with the bat. When you factor in his limited range defensively, I think it is fairly simple as to who should be getting out of the way when Heisey needs to get some PT

Sounded like the Cowboy just climaxed after that last strikeout
  • jordo212000
Saunders has already hit the showers. I still have no idea why he is so highly regarded.
