Just to think you have 3 starters sitting this game and lineup still looks super dangerous.

Really just two. Hanigan is not exactly a backup. But your point is valid. This team is full of hitters.

With the Reds hitting 439 with runners in scoring position YTD, I would hate to be the pitcher that has to to face THE APPARATUS. ( still too early to say machine)

This is on tv? Need to call home and make it gets recorded...

Yep, Thom and The Mayor in the booth yet again...

I know a lot of people are hating on Casey but I actually like him in the booth.

Imagine a broadcast team of Sean Casey and George Grande though...

I thought Casey did a better job last night. I don't think he is terrible or anything. I just prefer Welsh I guess. Casey was literally cackling at everything Brennamen said during his first game. And Brennamen isn't that funny.

He needs to stop laughing all the time. I wont turn it off because of him but it gets annoying.

I will say this...if he wasnt someone who many reds fans liked I bet most would be hating his style. Most reds fans liked him, so that skews their opinion.

SUrprised its on TV. Thought most BSP were about the only games not on TV this season.

He also cackles at just about everything he says. He's a man who loves laughter. Lots and lots of laughter.

He also uses the word "crush" a lot when talking about eating food. He's worse than the Cowboy is about food. Every time he talked about food, he also knew of somebody who could "crush it" or if he didn't know they could "crush" it, he wondered if they could.

Astros get the run they were playing for. Renteria kind of had a rough go at the RBI grounder up the middle, but did barely get the out. 1-0 after a half. A little surprise that LeCure backed of trying for the RBI grounder - if he snags it he likely hangs up the runner between 3rd and home, or gets the 2nd out with him staying at 3rd.

He also says "nasty" a lot and its kinda annoying

    But I (we) digress

Yes. I remember last night, the two combined with insane results when he was talking about "crushing" food, which segued into talk about the large ice cream stain on his shirt, which led to extended cackling. A very bizarre moment.

Come on Stubbs, let's see some of the bunting that it is claimed you are working on. All the errors the Astros made yesterday - how about putting some pressure on the infielders!

I think we may be looking at the end of our undefeated season guys...

I was planning to take a day off today and drive the 200+ miles to the game, but when the TV schedule came out and this was the only weekday home game, other than opening day and the Yankees, that was scheduled for TV, I changed my mind and saved the gas, and half a day of vacation, and ~ 8hrs of driving and before and after the game time, to watch it at home, also avoiding any likely weather issues. I plan on taking in the weekday game in two weeks, depending on the weather.

LeCure gets out of 2 on and 1 out unscathed to keep the deficit at 1, thanks to the 8th and 9th hitters making the last two outs. Top of the 3rd will be key for LeCure, starting thru the order again from the top. Let's hope the Reds can get him a lead in the bottom of the 2nd.
  • mhs95_06
I think Renteria was surprised when his bat caught that high fastball for an RBI.
  • BCBulldog
Francisco needs to get with the program and learn to take some pitches.
  • mhs95_06
Renteria tied it, lets see if LeCure can give himself a lead.
  • BCBulldog
    LeCure gets it.
  • SportsAndLady
He walked Lecure..then throws 2 nasty (FUCK YOU SEAN CASEY) pitches to Stubbs to get up 0-2
