    Fixed it for you again!

Bill Simmons said after the first Tribe Sox game he wasn't tweeting till the Sox won. It is going to be awhile.

Probably will be the only time we get to say that.

The attendance is horrible...but if they can stay around .500 when the weather gets better, I think it will average over 20 grand a night.

Manny Acta made a great call and it was executed perfecty. Druby making contact and keeping it fair was unbelievable. The pitch was outside and tailing away. Just great execution. Great win!
  • TBone14
The pitch looked to be almost a foot outside. At that point, just make contact and keep at bat alive. Getting it fair was incredible.

Salem OH's own Jerry Meals called the balls and strikes for this one too, just noticed it in the box score.

Normally, the 4th Glittering Wahoo of the season wouldn't be posted for another couple of weeks. This is The Shit!!

I am really liking Acta lately!

    This guy's lovin' it, too!

Yes, and he was getting "rave" reviews from both sides! (sarcasm)

I would have liked to see Hafner in the lineup today, even with Lester pitching. Its not like he needed a break. Not a huge fan of switching lineups for lefties when your team isn't deep to begin with, are our lefties that bad against LHP's?
  • OQB
I really like how scrappy this team is and their willingness to play fundamental baseball. I look for us to win some more games in the same fashion we did today.

Just need to get Choo's bat going.
  • royal_k
Hafner will get days off. Not as many as last year. But they will rest him against certain pitchers, to help keep him strong.

haha please tell me we aren't going to rest him against everyone's #1 guy, so we can keep his average up :D

The Tribe have the pieces to contend for the Central. I said it at the end of last year that this team COULD be in the AL Central race.. The only real ? mark I had was SP depth.

I think Fausto will be just fine, but if Josh Tomlin and Mitch Albot can continue to give us quality starts, along with Masterson we'll be fine.

The bullpen and offense are legit, the offense even more so if Grady can come back to his former self..

You are pretty optimistic. More optimistic than I have seen any tribe fan recently. That would be nice if you are right, but I highly doubt it.
