and they showed cavs highlights. not the knicks

    Yes, because they won.

The original complaint was about Sportscenter not showing highlights of them in a game they lost. That was my point. Why show highlights of a team with little interest nationwide in a game they lost.

If the Cavs were in contention for a playoff spot, yes, they would be on Sportscenter more.

I understand what you're saying. Although this seems to happen whether they win or lose. Did you see the highlights from the Knicks game a few weeks ago? You would have thought the Knicks won the game by 20 points. Cavs won the game and they literally showed one Cavs highlight.

There are people outside the state of Ohio who like the Cavs that probably wouldnt mind seeing more Cavs highlights on SC.

I honestly don't watch much Sportscenter. Might catch it on a Saturday morning, or late at night, so no I didn't see it.

I understand there are Cavs fans nationwide, but probably not on the scale of Knicks fans nationwide. Plus, basketball is a sport with more emphasis on stars than any other. The Cavs lack that star, therefore there is even less of a nationwide interest. You see Minnesota highlights because of Kevin Love. But if he got hurt tomorrow, you would never see their highlights.

With the Cavs having some top picks in the draft this year, they can change that if they get a couple good rookies that people have an interest in. The Cavs led Sportscenter all the time last year, not because of the Cavs fans nationwide, but because of the Lebron fans nationwide.

not really. that's just the way it is, it was the same before Lebron. you never see Indians highlights on sportscenter either.

I dont have a problem with it. I understand the way that it works, I'm just saying that I can understand why some people would have a problem with it. My brother is from NE, Ohio living out in SoCal, he's always telling that he wishes he could see more of his fave teams highlights, it does happen.

Its not just the Cavs, Indians etc...same thing happens with teams in every sport. Teams like the Reds or Royals, the Warriors or Bucks, the Rams or the Lions.I can understand why fans would want to see more of their fave teams highlights on a Natl sports show.

When I noticed this thread was at the top of the page, I knew that a idiotic troll argument was started and the idiotic troll side of the argument was taken by one or more of the following idiots: dynasty, lotz, or turdo.

I wasn't surprised to find out that I was pretty much spot on.

yeah the real highlights have moved to mlb network and nbatv, much better options than espn.

What was the idiotic troll side of the argument?

Just search every post you ever made on a Cleveland thread, and you will figure it out. Actually, probably not, because you are too dense to understand anything.

I was asking about this thread, since this is obviously the one you were commenting on. Quit making unsubstantiated comments.

Dynasty's logic is proven flawed again. Cavs lost and there was still highlights of them.

I never said there would never be highlights of the Cavs. But on days when maybe there are more games or other topics they want to cover and certain NBA highlights need to be cut, it will likely be the Cavs and other small market teams.

    HUGE surprise there /sarcasm.
