WASHINGTON — The judge declared a mistrial in baseball star Roger Clemens' perjury trial over inadmissible evidence shown to jurors.

U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton said Clemens could not be assured a fair trial after prosecutors showed jurors evidence against his orders in the second day of testimony.

Walton scheduled a Sept. 2 hearing to determine whether to hold a new trial.

The Braves got the 10,000th win in franchise history last night, joining the Cubs and the Giants as the only 2 other franchises to have done so. Better news is Martin Prado went 2-5 with a HR in his first game in over a month.

Dodgers and Cardinals have wins from the American Association or some bullshit. They are both short of 10,000 MLB wins.

Still 10,000 plus in franchise history. Who knows what any of those leagues were like before the 1900's.

UGGLA extended his hitting streak to 9 games today. Coming in to today's game he was hitting something around .380 over his last 8 games. All will be forgotten about his first half if that production keeps up.

Jon Heyman sent out a tweet today that said the Reds could trade for a top relief pitcher and Ubaldo Jimenez according to rival GM's.

    Rofl. Only 417 feet.

Many Reds fans laughed at St Louis for signing the washed up Berkman. This Reds fan would give my 3rd testical to have the Big Puma batting 4th and playing LF for the Reds.
