jordo212000I think Stubbs is going to have a breakout year. He struggled last year at times, but when you look at what the numbers he finished up with, they were really impressive! The power and speed combo is rare. Would just like to see him make more contact, but that will come

I could see him having a breakout year, but only if they keep him out of the leadoff. He was awful in that spot. He strikes out too much and he doesn't see enough pitches. 6, 7, or 8 are perfect for him right now. -
thavoiceCOrky talked about managing in sundays DDN, think in an article with Hal McCoy. He said he thought about it 4-5 years ago but his friends suggest him to play as long as he can! Says he still gets contracts, albeit bad ones, but as long has they offer he will sign.
Could be a good manager...who knows. Catchers seem to be good managers as they see and are involved in so much -

For sure. Yesterday when he hit a 3 run bomb there were runners on first and second. No sign of a bunt to put pressure on the D, 2-0 count and he swung at a ball on the edge. Then he pops one to right. Not a bad thing at all, just not what you need from a leadoff guy. Just put him 5th or 6th and let him use the power for now.
