Cavs at Heat 7:30pm

I'm still trying to figure out how Manny Harris didn't get drafted. Even at Michigan he was a bad boy on the court. What was it that draft experts didn't like about him?

Manny throws it down with Bron looking for the block

    What a joke

Miami is doing just fine attendance-wise. Just look at the link provided by karen. In all honesty, I can't blame Miami fans. It is a Monday night and they are playing one of the worst teams in basketball with zero marketable stars. Obviously people on the fence about attending a game on a Monday night probably had their decision made much easier when they saw the matchup. There is just too much going on down there.

I don't think the issue was ever attendance at Miami. I think the problem was the fans getting there on time.

ehh I will admit that my first post was an attempt to needle you guys. You guys need to knocked down a few pegs. The amount of smack talk you guys did (without ever winning anything), paired with your dismissive attitude (Celtics epic collapse & Lebron playing elsewhere) of anything that wasn't Cavalier related just rubbed me the wrong way.

At the same time, me and many others were providing honest opinions about what was going on (we happened to be correct) and we were labeled as trolls.

Heat sell 100.9% of tickets for home games. What would it take for it to not be a joke anymore? 110%? Fire Marshals shutting it down because there are too many people there?

Why is that an issue though? Same stuff happens in LA for Lakers game and even Dodgers fans are known for the late arrivals.

Yeah, and your posts on Cavs threads rub people the wrong way. I'm not a big fan of the "I told you so" posts.

IPOTW. Congrats, you're moving up the leader boards.

    Thanks Capt. Obvious

The first post of mine was kind of tongue in cheek, but not this one. This was on the first page of Fox Sports.com, so I mean I didn't dig all the way to the nether-regions to find this. Other posters had previously commented about how bad Cleveland was, so I thought this article was topical. Don't shoot the messenger.

It's like pulling teeth trying to get people in Miami interested in the Heat lol "come on guys, get there before tip off and pleeeeease stay until the game is over!"

I understand that. Do you think all those people show up to the game? I was at the game vs the Pacers on the 19th

Heres what the boxscore had for attendance

    arena stats
Arena: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, OH Officials: #41 Ken Mauer, #56 Mark Ayotte, #70 Brent Barnaky Attendance: 20562

I can promise you that there werent 20, 562 people in that place. Those numbers show tickets sold, not people in the seats

Did you happen to see the "I am a Cavalier" season ticket renewal commercial during the last break?

No I didn't, did it happen to teach people in Cleveland how to be fans? Like that ad in Miami had to do?

Ok, so why do you need to point out that the crowd in Miami is a joke? Why do you care when Miami fans show up for the game?

No, it is pleading with Cavs fans to renew their season tickets for next year. I don't think they had to do that last January.

I don't think Lebron, D-wade, and Bosh care about how many fans are there on a Monday night for a game against the Cavs. Once the playoffs roll around, the stadium will be full, and will also be more than loud enough.

Lol at this. Too much going down there. Right, because the clubs are only open on Mondays. I hate that excuse, it's the biggest bs excuse I have ever seen. You can't swim at the beach at night time, and the clubs are open every day. The heat (and other miami franchises) only show up for certain times of the year. GTFO with that excuse. I am sorry if you gave me the choice between watching my favorite team live, or going to the club/bar (knowing it is going to be open tomorrow), I will choose watching my favorite team. And don't give me this matchup bullshit either. I could understand if it was any other shitty team in the league maybe, but the cavs/heat have an obvious storyline to it.

mallymal614;659766 wrote:I don't think the issue was ever attendance at Miami. I think the problem was the fans getting there on time.
Exactly. They have 3 stars and no one wants to go and watch them...

Thanks for admitting you are a passive aggressive troll. Congrats on becoming dynasty jr. What the fuck do you mean we needed knocked down a few pegs? All the examples you provided were 95% of SQ's bullshit, so nice fail. You are labeled as a troll, because you are a troll, u just hid it in a good way. You clearly just proved you have a bone to pick of cleveland fans. Sorry, we are not sorry you were jealous of us actually being excited over a winning team.

lol of course you come to defend the heat. You were a LeBron/cavs hater and all of a sudden now you are hugging LeBron's nuts.
karen lotz;659778 wrote:Why is that an issue though? Same stuff happens in LA for Lakers game and even Dodgers fans are known for the late arrivals.

Not for the playoffs lolfail. The heat's arena was half empty during the playofs. They are known for having a pathetic fan base. There is a reason why their team homepage had a campaign to bring fans to the game. Also, see my above comment about nut hugging.

So your first post was to get a reaction out of Cleveland fans, but your second post wasn't because you provided a link? LMAO ok, continue your passive aggressive trolling dynasty jr.
