I have to start changing things up

  • xnds1fan
I have to start changing things up. I hate the Steelers more than any team and every team I've been rooting for in the NFL playoffs have lost. So I'm pulling out all of the stops this week and I have to support the Steelers. I hope they win. It would make my weekend if they won. I would be so happy with a Pittsburgh win.

Bandwagon Steeler fans in Ohio. It was great because prior to 2005, there were very, very few fans. Then, they just all sprouted up out of nowhere.

I remember prior to entering the 2008 season, I was talking to a Steelers fan who was telling me that he thinks Jerome Bettis should retire after this season, and that he hopes it will end on a high note.

    Idiots.

Do you ever notice that the majority of people calling Pittsburgh supporters "bandwagoners" are Cleveland fans? Ya'll need to just move on an accept the fact that there are Pittsburgh fans in Ohio and all over the country for that matter. Just accept....the whining is old makes you look like bitches.

Nah, we don't look like asses. We can actually name more than just a few players on our team.

Do you notice you are the one who always gets his panties in a bunch about the bandwagon comment? Maybe its because you are a bandwagon fan, and because you have been called out for it numerous times in your life.

    LOL at jealous Cleveland fans.

I'm just trying to point out that it makes you look stupid. Accept it and MOVE ON! Talk about the actual sport.

Wrong, actually I've never been called that until you and you're dad joined up.

I don't understand how people can say this.... There were tons of Steeler fans in Ohio before 2005, especially Central, Eastern and SE Ohio.

Says a fan of LA teams? Unfortunately I agree to a point. Nothing more annoying then seeing Steelers fans from Ohio with no ties to PA or the Steelers. This isn't a knock to people who are, just annoys me as a Browns fan to see it in Ohio.

There are more Steeler fans in the middle to south eastern part of Ohio than there are Cleveland fans. Case in point is Steubenville, East Liverpool and vicinity have an overwhelming majority of Steeler fans. You can throw in the northern panhandle of West Virginia too. When you live that close it's second nature to be a fan of that team. Personally, it shouldn't matter where you live.

Also you get Pittsburgh radio and local TV in the majority of those areas. I guess some people just don't get it.

Absolutely and local TV stations in that area like WTRF will carry the Steeler game over the Browns game. LOL, it's the "Burb of the Burgh".

I still listen to him occasionally, but I really miss listening to Madden in my car. He is THE MAN.

I'm from this area and going by people wearing Steeler merchandise compared to Browns merchandise it's probably 90 - 10% in favor of the Steelers.

I currently live in SE Ohio and we definitely do not get Pittsburgh TV...it's Columbus.

And I cannot remember too many times where the Browns were not on TV this year.
