  I hope Mangini enjoyed his Gatorade shower after the Pat's win, 'cause IMO it's the last one he'll get as the Brownies' head coach--after losing back-to-back games to anemic teams (and lucking out with a one point win three weeks ago), he's history.

  Problem with Mangini now is....the Ravens and Steelers need to beat the Browns so they have a lot to play for and they are going to smoke our asses. No way we win either of those games.

  Eh, could look at it two ways, he needs them as much as they do to keep his job. I'm just wondering if he gets style points if the team just doesn't mail it in.

  I know what you're saying, but it seems he's been digging himself out of a sand hole since he's been here...he just doesn't seem comfortable, and that tells me he's under intense scrutiny--and that losing to teams he shoulda/woulda/coulda beat is signing his own walking papers.

  Yeah, but I think those teams with something to play for...is just too much because they are more talented. I think our only chance is against the Steelers because we will have the officials on our side

  Fire them all. Ryans defense has given up 380 rushing yards the past 2 weeks against teams that usually cant even run the ball.

  I don't think it's coaching as much as it is lack of talent at some key positions. This team needs a serious induction of speed....especially at the outside LB pos and at WR. They need help on both the OL and DL, and they need another DB. Untill they get the right players, they will continue to be inconsistant. I really believe with another good draft and a few FA signings, they will be right there. They have shown marked improvement from last year. It's not showing up with Ws, but you have to be blind not to see it. The schedule they've played this year has been killer. The only place I could agree with making a change would be at OC.

  This is basically word for word my opinion of the Browns. We can be competitive when our starters are out there but were screwed when they tire or get injured. Depth is lacking but you'd be crazy if you didn't see improvements in the team.

  I wouldn't mind Mangini staying at all, as long as Daboll goes. I also wouldn't mind them taking a run at McDaniels for OC.

  I told my buddy yesterday that this is the first game I didn't feel like the Browns gave max effort. Hell, TJ Ward was just shoving people and not going for the big hit.

  If the Browns can find a way to win this week, the Steelers probably won't have anything to play for the final week and would rest some guys.
