Clutch stats, Hollinger rankings,Stein stats...bunch of computer geeks who have never played a meaningful game of basketball in their life trying to tell us who according to a "computer" is the most "clutch" and "best" or most "efficient" player in the game. My own eyes of watching NBA basketball tells me who is clutch and who is good."

Y-Town SteelhoundYes, he'll never miss another shot in his life LOL....because that's exactly what I said. I said I guarantee he would've made that shot, in Miami (his house), from wide open in the corner, as the game winning/tying shot. Technically that statement can never be proved or disproved so I don't know what the fuss is about. I find all of your pathetic attempts at exaggerating my statement amusing.
Main point is that if you're the Heat, you want Wade hitting taking the last shot. -

The fuss is the fact that you guaranteed something that is totally 100% out of your hands.
That and it was an idiotic statement. -
Y-Town Steelhounddave;696185 wrote:lol posting 4 game winners, all several years old, 2 of which are 5ft shots and one a fluke play.
Oh, let's see I suppose I'll pick this apart piece by piece starting from the beginning. I could post more, but I didn't think crowding the whole screen with videos was necessary and my point was proven. If someone wants to post 5 LeBron game winners feel free. The several years old statement is funny because it proves my point, that LeBron is hogging the game winners this year. I believe LeBron had about a 3 ft. shot and missed it because Amare swatted it onto pluto. Great players don't have "fluke" plays. If that's a fluke play, so is LBJ's game winner vs. Orlando 2 years ago which I don't think anyone would argue. Can't have it both ways. Now wipe your tears and sit back in the corner while the grown-ups discuss basketball. -

It's an idiotic statement to say that Dwyane Wade would've made the shot? Or is it idiotic that I believe that Wade is better at game winners? -

Doubtful any Heat fan wants Wade shooting a corner 3. That's the hardest shot to hit unless you are a 3 point specialist. There's a reason he was open. They need to get Miller the ball, they are paying him a lot of money, not sure why they don't get him some important shots before the playoffs roll around. -

You said neither of those. That and it was an idiotic statement.

You said you guarantee Wade would make that shot. That is one of the most idiotic, ridiculous things I have ever heard.
I wouldn't even guarantee that Jordan makes that shot. -
karen lotzlol I would not guarantee anyone in history would make that shot. Sure, if I were a Heat fan, I would feel more comfortable and confident in several other members of the team hitting that shot than LeBron. Wade isn't one of them. He isn't a shooter.
-
wildcats20D Wade is a career 29.3% 3 point shooter.
I don't care what he has/hasn't done in the clutch, a 29.3% 3 point shooter is NOT someone I want taking a 3 to win the game. -

wildcats20So, watching the Lakers/T Wolves game.
Game is almost over, they cut away to the Wolves pregame guys(the broadcast on League Pass is FSNorth), and they just said "if the Lakers win, we will talk to Pau Gasol on the court after the game."
WTF?!?!?!? -

I cant give a reason, without seeing what happened or context. But I assume he was talking to the guys in the truck or the sideline reporter. Would also assume he didnt know he was on, or didnt hit the talkback button to take his voice off-air and into only the trailor/truck.
EDIT: Unless you think its wierd they would talk to the opposition?? I dont think that is too weird though. -

They were coming back from a commercial. The 2 guys were live on camera, totally supposed to be, and announced they would be talking to Pau after the game. As in part of their post game coverage would be talking to a player from the opposing team.
