osu45804WOW --- Officials NEVER call that at the last second
-
Hb31187That is a complete horse shit call, how do you get homered at home?
-
Hb31187That is seriously terrible, thats the first and ONLY time I have ever seen a call liek that on a game winner. Pathetic
Players shoudl decide games, not referees -

Players shoudl decide games, not referees
Yeah dude, the players did decide it. Manu decided to get into proper defensive position, and Carmelo decided to charge through him. The refs made the correct call, same call that gets made the entire game. -
sportswizuhrdYou guys see the end? That stuff is why I love Inside the NBA(along with Chuck saying Byron should get the COY, calling Semih Erden-Semin and saying that the Nets would make the playoffs...again).
-
Hb31187Manu slid underneath of him, and exagerated the contact like he got hit by a freight train.
Ive NEVER seen a charge called on a game winner... ever. Hell you hardly see them call a shooting foul when the game is on the line even if it is one. You know why? Because most officials know that they should swallow their whistles in the last few seconds of regulation. -

Yes, that was classic haha -

Spoken like someone with sour grapes. Manu was clearly there first and was set. -
Hb31187Regardless if he slid or was set. You dont make that call in crunch time, most officials understand this. 9 times out of 10 that is a game winner no call, charge or block

So put the whistle away when a foul is committed?
Bottom line, if Carmelo doesn't commit a charge, no charge is called. Simple as that, nothing more needs to be said. -
Hb31187Yes, thats what usually happens is they swallow the whistles. Even you know that
One of the most memorable game winners in the history of the NBA is an offensive foul -

9 outta 10 times the call isn't as cut and dry as that one. If that doesn't get called the Spurs are calling David Stern tomorrow wondering why. Even you know that. -
Hb31187Lol the call im takling about was pretty cut and dry. But officials know they shoudlnt decide games(well most do) so they dont call it.
Oh well, bad call. Im over it -
