13th but thats irrelevent, Kobe came into the league with way more fanfare and expectations than Evan Turner. -

Thats true. But no one expected them to be realized immediately either. -

Part of me wants to say thats AWESOME! Go for it Gil! Another part of me wants to say just drop it and move on, tampering happens in pretty much every sport at any level and this is probably an act in futility. -
Laley23Cant hurt. If he finds something the Cavs get some draft picks. If hes wrong, he wasted his money on lawyers.

pretty much...win win for the fans...and I doubt Gilbert will be clipping coupons if he loses some dinero on lawyers. -
lhslep134Do the Heat have any draft picks left to give up?

I think it was Windhorst that said that even if the league finds evidence of tampering they really can't nullify anything because technically we traded LeBron to Miami. And they really can't lose draft picks because they traded most of them away in the S&Ts. -
Commander of AwesomeNot for a few years at least. NBA rules stipulate that a team has to make their first round selection every other year, thus I believe we would be talking about 2020 draft picks or something at this point. I think it would be more in the lines of the league stepping in with big fine or something. I mean, nothing really to be gained here by Gilbert and the Cavs other than PR/fan support etc... I HIGHLY doubt the league would step in and not allow them to make trades/sign FAs, etc..things that would really hurt the franchise.

Lol I didn't read the article so when I saw Gilbert I instantly thought Gilbert Arenas because someone had mentioned him a few posts ago. And I thought to myself why would Gilbert Arenas waste his money lolGilbert spending a lot of money on lawyers in hopes to prove Miami tampered with James before the free agency period started.

karen lotzNets and Thunder are locked in a 3 OT thriller tonight. Thunder up 1 with 6 seconds left. Westbrook was one helper short of a triple double in regulation so I'd assume he has it by now.
-
karen lotzFinal 123-120 OKC. Westbrook missed out on triple double but had 38/15/9.
-
karen lotzLakers on the verge of dropping their 4th straight game in Houston. Down 3 with a minute to go. LA is 7-0 when Kobe takes less than 20 shots and 6-5 when he takes over 20. He is at 22 so far tonight.
-
wildcats20Lakers lose 4th in a row. Eh
-
karen lotzLooked like Gasol didn't have a very good night. 8 points, 9 boards. Odom has to be an All Star right?

and they have won 2 straight Championships with Kobe averaging 23 shots and 22 shots per game during the 2 Playoff runs. Stats don't always tell the whole story. -
osu45804Celtics make it 5 Straight wins after tonight at home vs. Portland ----- C's were up 96-80 w/ 5:06 left, then Portland goes on a 15-0 run to make it a 1 point game w/ 28 seconds left -- Ray Allen hits the dagger 3 w/ 10 seconds left: 99-95 win

Didn't Phil call out the rest of the team recently for not doing enough, which forced Kobe to take too many shots? -
