I'm not mad as a Heat fan, it's just kind of funny. Are you guys dissapointed in him because he isn't a banger down low? He is who is is.. the modern day stretch 4. It'll never change. He can get better, and will with a year or two in the Miami system. But he's still gonna be what Shaq thinks he is. As for the Heat fans, they are what they are. They are a unique bunch of people. They are like college kids.. get to the party late. They'll coast through the preseason, but they'll be pretty good during the playoffs. They were filling up the stands when they won the championship. That's an accomplishment in Miami, ha. The Heat will be fine. They're still meshing and trying to figure out each other. Once they do that, they'll try and figure out who they are. Once they do that, they'll learn to win the tough games together. Then they'll put it together and see who's deserving of being the best. Teams with great PG's and C's are hurting them right now, but it's okay. Once Mike Miller gets back, they'll help the Heat's rotations a lot at PG (LBJ). Miami will continue to throw bodies at the 4/5 all year long. That's their plan. Yea, we're weak at the 5, but we're hoping are 1-4 put up more points than you can score. This is the most fun I've had as a Heat fan in awhile. The excitment is there obviously, but it's a unique feeling watching a BRAND new team actually learn on the fly every second of every game.

So you're pointing out that your pathetic fan base is bandwagoning fair weather POS's? LMAO, I like how thats one of your defenses. What a freaking joke. Idiot Post of the Week.

Give me a blue collar team and fan base over a fair weather fan base any day of the week.

Miami is actually not a good basketball team, like water is wet. 3 losses to less talented teams, nice.

One of my defenses? What are you even talking about. I'm AGREEING that they have a poor fan base, and even going further and saying it's actually an accomplishment for THEM that they were showing up for the FINALS. I'd have to say you just earned the idiot post of the week.

Ok, I'll give you exactly that. The Heat have a ring in the past several years, does Cleveland? Not so bad for fair weather fan base eh? But it's not even about that at all. At the end of the day, a fan base is nice, but they don't bring home the rings. Give me a great team and an empty stadium and I'll show you the filled trophy case.

Miami isn't even a team yet, which I've stated before. They're individuals learning on the fly. I completely agree. Are people having a hard time comprehending things today. Or are people just so eager to get at the Heat, that they don't take the time to really "get it". Come talk to me in April and tell me if they're still not a good basketball team. Then, just maybe, I'll panic. But for right now, there's no panic. I'll just patiently watch them grow up a little each week. They aren't anywhere close to a championship contender. But I'll sure have fun watching them hopefully turn into one in the coming months.

There are certain things that people just fail to realize:

    1. Miami is an amazing city, and there are usually much better things to do than sit inside an Arena for 3 hours
    2. Bosh is a finesse big man. It's a fact. Miami knew this. Bosh knew this. Other teams know this.
    3. It will take time for this team to gel, as it's a completely new roster
    4. Mike Miller is a HUGE piece to this team, and they will have a new look once he's back
    5. They are going to get every teams best shot

I agree with all of these. I'm jus giving you a hard time jpake, I don't actually care about Miami truthfully.

After KG's cancer comment, I want any team in the league to win the championship other than Boston and punch KG in the face, even if it means the Supergayfriends get a ring together.

JPake you might not care if Bosh is soft, but it will hurt them come playoff time.

KG, Shaq, J.O'Neal, Perkins, Dwight and Brandon Bass will fuck Bosh up in the postseason.
  • karen lotz
Bosh isn't a center. Joel Anthony very well could get fucked up by Shaq, Perkins, and Howard. KG is as soft as Bosh is, only he runs his mouth more and acts like he's tough.

    1. Yeah like swim at the beach during the night time? Or go clubbing like you can do every other day? Or selling narcotics with the Cubans? (sounds a hell of a lot better than watching your city's team play in the playoffs).
    2. Bosh is a pussy.
    3. They might gel, but they aren't going to gel enough to beat a team that is physical with size in a playoff series. They probably will also not beat a team with a great PG in a playoff series.
    4. LMAO Mike Miller.
    5. Yes they will. I know wade is mentally tough, but LeBron and Wade are pussies when it comes to mental toughness. They are not going to be able to deal with getting every team's best shot, nor will they be able to deal with any adversity.

LMAO at Mike Miller being a big part of any team. Have you not watched him at all in his career?

Sorry LA > Miami. Yet LA still manages to get fans (real fans) to come to the games. Even when they weren't very good and basically the kobe show (IE the heat past 3 seasons).
Oh and there isn't stuff to do in NY? LMAO nice fail argument. NY has the most going on in a city that large yet they STILL sell out every game despite the fact that they've been fucking terrible the past 10+ seasons. SMH at your idiocy.

He'll help more than he'll hurt. IF he can knock down open jumpers, he'll pay off. Come playoff time, when LBJ and DWade get on the next level, more attention will be given and the guys Pat surrounded them with will get their true chances to prove their worth. I think you went a lil crazy with the rest of the post. KG is fine, they'll go to war and KG will get the better of Bosh. But most of the other guys you named won't even guard one another. Bosh won't guard Dwight or Shaq much. It'll be Anthony, Z, Haslem, then the foul guys like Big Cat. And those guys won't stop the big guys, but hopefully they slow them down enough. Did you really mention JO and Bass? As Herm would say, c'mon maaaannnn. JO is fine and dandy, but come playoff time, he's a punk ass bitch. Ask Boston. I can't say much about Bass. Hopefully he gets off the bench come meaningful minutes in the playoffs.

Reason #1 is a huge crock of shit (no offense). You have one of the most intriguing teams in the history of the NBA and fans STILL dont bother caring? You think there isn't anything better to do in Los Angeles then go to a game? Similarly, you think the Lakers aren't getting everyone's best shot, yet they're still undefeated. I know everyone wants to beat the Miami Heat, ESPN's poster child for BEST TEAM IN THE UNIVERSE EVER, but, I'm sure the three-time champs are getting everyone's best shot also.

LOL where did you get that at?? Dynasty was making excuses for why fans don't show up and how Miami is going to get everyone's full focus and I just pointed out that LA faces those same exact issues yet it doesn't negatively affect them does it? But yeah sure, my money is on the Lakers winning this year. So far they've shown no reason for anyone to doubt them right?
