Not sure anyone will know how good he is until around Jan or Feb....that is until he kinda finds out how he fits in with two hall of famers. I hate the whole Miami thing, but after they mesh, they are going to be tough to beat. Hands down the best talent in the NBA in a long time, I just hope that those egos get in the way of their success.

gotcha. He is def a soft player and I don't think he will ever have the skill set of Pau.

He is soft. That's been known. He will learn about tough do and physical play this year. He will be better next year. Much like gasol with last a few years ago. I'm not worried about bosh at all.

Lakers continue to play the best basketball in the League to start the season and are putting the Blazers away in the 2nd quarter.

Of course, as soon as I post this, the Blazer will go on a run and cut it to 5 or something lol.

Peaking too early...they probably won't make the playoffs.

    Lakers up by 20

    GASOL 4 MVP
  • wildcats20
Right now Pau is the MVP.

Basically had a triple double at half.

I love the way the Lakers are playing right now.

ESPN had a great article on this team's mindset. They don't think about Miami, Boston, or the 3peat. 100% of their focus is on their next opponent.. and with a team led by Kobe and Pau, with the bench and versatility we have.... we could do BIG things this season.
  • wildcats20
Steve Blake to Pau off the glass lol

    Champs are ballin

Damn lakers are blowin Portland out even with Bryant playin like a bum this game. Thats a good sign for LA
  • wildcats20
Obviously it won't stay this way all year; but if the Lakers play like they are right now in the Playoffs, NO ONE will beat them.

This is a first.....but I hope you are right!

I actually had to agree with something Cowherd said this morning.

Something along the lines of jump shooting teams(Miami) can not win championships. You HAVE to have an inside presence in the modern NBA to win a ring. Which is why the Suns, Mavs, Cavs and those type teams fail in the playoffs.
  • wes_mantooth
^^^Yeah, but that is why Bosh was so sought after....he was going to be some other team's Pau.

From what I have seen though.....Bosh is way too soft.
  • thedynasty1998
Bosh has looked soft, but everyone knew it would take him longer than anyone else to adjust to the added pressure and the sharing of the ball and finding a role.

I agree with Cowherd more often than not, but I don't necessarily agree with him regarding that comment.

Uhm isn't that what my entire thread was about?!

Hollingers rankings are based on a figure that he made up.

If anyone really thinks that there is a team playing better basketball than the Lakers they have lost their mind
