Week 3: Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens

^ I heard Mary Kay talking about that on KNR yesterday. Pretty comical, I don't blame him though. I don't think that made the FG that much harder for Dawson, Dawson just completely wiffed on that kick. It wouldn't have mattered.

    Twice.

You blew the first boatload of cash (again) and had to end up selling most of your shares so you'd have something to leave to your coke-addled son.

Thought this was pretty cool. Can't stop tailgating in the Muni. http://www.brownsgab.com/2010/09/22/browns-tailgaters-1-city-of-cleveland-0/

BTW...The Cryptkeeper said that the Browns are the oldest team in the AFC. Need a serious infusion of impact youth.

I seen an article on that somewhere. The Steelers are 2nd right behind them. There's also an article on ProFootball talk.com with all this years salary cap numbers. Steelers,Browns, and Ravens are all within a few dollars of each other.

They probably should've kept Bruce Gradkowski.

He was bad the first few years with the Bucs and Browns but he started to turn the corner last season and now looks like a legit starter.

I'm going to say 17-6 Ratturds in this one. Phil Dawson finally gets off the schneid and hits 2 FG's for the Browns.

I'm in a survival football league and the pot goes to the last person standing.

Ravens over Browns is my pick for this week.
  • BR1986FB
I would say that's pretty safe.

I don't really have a score prediction for the game. If Baltimore's offense is working properly they may score upwards of 28 but if they play like they did against Ciincy and NY they may only score 10 or 13. I'm just ready for the game.

Cleveland at best puts up 10 points. If they get in the endzone at all. Ravens should roll.

Flacco will have ALL day to throw and will dice up the Browns secondary like a Ginsu. If shitbags like Josh Freeman (with a bum throwing hand) and Matt Cassel can light us up like Xmas trees, a QB with the talent that Flacco has around him will torch us.

The one td they have given up in the air is "lighting up"?

I can see the Browns getting shutout.

I'm not talking about the TD's. I'll give you that the Browns D has been pretty stout in the red zone but in between the 20's, Freeman & Cassel had ALL day to throw and WIDE open receivers. They face a GOOD offense that knows how to execute and those FG's will become TD's.

The Browns are currently 8th in the league in passing defense and 9th in opponent's QB rating. I don't think any QB has "lit up" the Browns D...yet.
  • BR1986FB
    We'll see....haven't faced a QB yet either.

Baltimore is a 10.5 point favorite, for some reason I think the Browns cover.

Because the Ravens havent scored more than 10 pts in a game yet this season, must mean Vegas thinks they shut the Browns out.

It's possible considering how the Raven's D has been playing.
  • Commander of Awesome
Highly likely even, considering how the Browns offense has been performing.
  • BR1986FB
I don't think the Browns will get shut out. For as bad as their offense may seem, we always have the great "equalizer", Josh Cribbs, and he's DUE. Even if he doesn't break one for a TD, he'll likely bust one far enough to get the Browns in FG range.
  • bigdaddy2003
I doubt they will get shut out also. I'm just interested in seeing if the Ravens offense gels finally or not.
