Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) at Cleveland Browns (0-1)

    Andrew Luck, please.

Do we know how to score points in the 2nd half? That is on the coaches. The Browns may go 1-15.

    Fixed.

    What a joke.

The Browns just dont have a single playmaker on offense. RB is their strength and that is a mediocre bunch. WR is a joke. QB is and has been a travesty.

Daboll needs to be fired. The offense just isn't there, and wasn't there last year either.

This season is going to spiral out of control quickly as these were supposed to be the winnable games the last 2 weeks.

Reghi sounds despondent on Browns react right now on 850 wknr.

As a caller just said, how do you lose the home opener to a team that did not score an offensive touchdown?

    Sweet :)

I agree, we are looking at the very real possibility of 0-16. Like BR has said, "all we have is a bunch of "guys".

At this point last season we were asking what time training camp opened for the Cavs. With that not a question we even want an answer to anymore, is there any town with a bleaker pro sports outlooks than Cleveland right now?

I honestly can't think of many players on this team that would start on any other team.

Joe Thomas: Would start on most teams
Eric Wright: IMO he would as well
Vickers: Maybe if a team needed a fullback
Potbriand: If teams need a long snapper
Cribbs: Only as a possible KR

Essentially going into almost every game the Browns are a bunch of #2s (and in some cases #3's) playing against #1's.

To answer your question, no. At this rate I wouldn't even mind a lockout next year.

With the 1st overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns select:

    HAHAHAAAAA
    Go Holmgren Go!!!!!!
  • IggyPride00
An 0-9 start seems in the bag right now. In the next 7 weeks they have Baltimore, Cincy, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, New England and the Jets.

I don't see how they win any of those games.

Jacksonville in week 11 seems to me at least to be the first "winnable" game, which is why it was so vital to get a win the fist 2 weeks given how the schedule was set up.

I will make the prediction now that Mangini doesn't make it through the bye week if this team starts out 0-7 heading into the off week 8. Holmgren will have to fire him, Daboll and the rest of the bums coaching this team.

At that point I also think you throw Colt McCoy to the wolves and see if you have anything because otherwise it is time to draft a QB again this year in the first round. This is just such a disaster it is disgusting.

    Mallett or Luck

    let the debate begin

Jim Harbaugh actually might not be a bad coach either, seems like an NFL fit

I like your post, Iggy. Food for thought. I think I agree with you.

I see that Art has chimed in to give us a good kick in the ribs while we're down.

Next years QB class looks pretty solid, its week 2 and its already time to think about the draft. The defense will keep them in some games but that offense is awful. Mangini wont make it to the end of the year.
  • Mulva
I think the Browns beat either Cinci or Atlanta at home, but I think they'll be 1-6 heading into the bye and agree that Mangini will be fired.

Holmgren preached patience with Womangini, I doubt he would fire him during the season. After the season is another story. I never will understand the Womangini hire, when they had PLENTY of time to interview and evaluate other candidates.

    The owner hired quickly because:
He is from New York, thinks everything in New York is better and Mangini who was a "genius" coached in New York... everybody knows everything from New York is the best! (sarcasm)

I am gonna friggin hurl.... I am getting too old for this sh--!

I think today ended any thoughts that Wallace should replace Delhomme.
  • dazedconfused
the browns offense looked like an over-matched madden player out there - hb dives up the middle for nothing and overthrown streak routes up the sideline every other play.

this team is bad and it's only going to get worse the next seven weeks...i can't believe we have lost these two games to teams with a combined record of 7-25 last season lol
  • riders1
Cheer up you clowns fans, they have the same record as Dallas and Minnesota :)

Erica Womangini cant make a half time adjustment to save his life. He will be gone at the end of the year, Daboll could be fired after next week. I hated Daboll when we hired him, and I still hate him now. My .02, at this time I want Andrew Luck if he decides to come out. Mallet reminds me a JaFatcus Russell too much.
