Right now Karen has his tail tucked between his legs, after his Braves got swept and are in real danger of missing the playoffs, and well Notre Dame. He was all Mr Chatty before this series...

If by hiding you mean having a life and not sitting on a computer 24/7, then yeah I was hiding. I like to stand up and walk around.

Ummm you live in DC and didn't go to college (high school is questionable), you are fan of OSU, the Steelers, and the Phillies. You are "related" to AJ Foyt (lol) yet your avatar is that of Denny Hamlin, who just happens to be leading the sprint cup standings. The title of this thread is "Phillies Are in 1st Place" and you don't start threads until they are in first place or close to it. No threads when they were playing like cripples early in the season. I wonder why that is?

LOL you are probably the biggest joke in the world. Yes I live in DC because I work for the government. Your right I didn't go to college, I was in the USMC. Yes I am a fan of the Steelers, Phillies, and 76ers and your point is. Yah your right I did start it when they were in 1st place, they were 7 games back and in mid July. Your right I am a Denny Hamlin fan, before that I was a DJ fan but he retired, so I picked a young guy. Have been following Hamlin for and 6 years now.

My point is you questioned me being a fan of ND and Atlanta with your reasoning being that I live in Ohio. Why aren't you a fan of the Redskins, Nationals, Wizards, and Georgetown? Please go ahead and spin what you meant into something that makes a shred of sense again.

What I am saying is I grew up in Philly before we moved back to Columbus when I was 15. While we lived in Philly my parents were both Ohio State fans as they both graduated, from OSU.

But keep up the good work have you ever lived in Atlanta or South Bend?

Have you ever lived in Pittsburgh? Good job backpedaling.

Yep actually did for a year....anything else...I also lived in 29 Palms, California; Jacksonville, North Carolina; and Grand Forks, North Dakota

Why aren't you a fan of the Jaguars or Panthers? I bet if they had won a Super Bowl you would be a huge fan right?

It is fucking retarded to think that you have to live in the city/state of a team in order to be a fan. By the transitive property, what does that make you?

You know I really am done with the whole conversation with you. I really don't care who your a fan of but calling be a bandwagon fans is crazy. I grew up the team loving the teams that I still do today. You are on here trying to make me look like a idiot and you do the same thing to many others. You think it is funny, and well basically it's not. But keep up the good work.
  • karen lotz
I don't try to make you look like AN idiot, you do a very good job of that on your own. I'm sorry you feel that way.

Is "But keep up the good work." your new personal slogan, similar to sleeper's? If so you might want to come up with something a little more witty.

11 Straight!!!!! Phillies Magic number is down to 3....Looks like it could be at 2 tonight as the Braves are losing 6-1 in the 7th to the Nats!!
  • Tiger2003
Phillies winning streak ends at 11 games, Magic number stays at 2.

Phillies win the NL East. 4 straight. Halladay throws a complete game 2 hitter striking out 6 and allowing no walks in the rain, to pick up win #21. Philly fans packed the stadium, and basically took the stadium over. Jayson Werth hit his 26th homerun.

Announced attendance: 14,309. From the highlights I just saw on ESPN, it appeared there were 7000 AT MOST. I've seen bigger crowds for a Marlins game. Good job packing and basically taking over the stadium Philly fans!!!!!!
  • karen lotz
Packed stadium or not, congrats to the Phillies. Only 10 more division titles in a row to tie Atlanta's record.

Hmmm, I'm curious as to when the first 3 Philly titles of their current 4 occurred? I'm pretty sure they happened in the past, yet you threw that in in your post. You fail.
