So I was wrong about something and shorted him a couple of points. You of all people shouldn't be making fun of people who are wrong about something regarding the NBA. You have made an Ohiochatter career about of being completely wrong about all things Cavaliers -
Commander of AwesomeThis is an ohio message board, in a Cavs thread. What did you think you were getting into? If anything he's made a career of correcting dumbasses posting on OC acting like experts. See Jordo/Dynasty.

I remember he predicted that the Cavs would win the title and Bron would sign with the Cavs. Whats wrong with that? You probably think the Reds are gonna win the WS and hold onto their young players. What happens when they dont and the Yanks and Sox buy up all their talent? Does that make you completely wrong about all things Reds?
I have made some predicitons about the Indians, Browns and Cavs in the past as well. Its what fans do. -

Nope. I haven't said anything about the Reds regarding their World Series chances. I love the makeup of the team and the organization seems to be headed in the right direction. I tend to be logical about my favorite teams and I try and keep an even keel. I don't shoot my mouth off about how good they are and then get butt hurt and emotional when/if I am proven to be wrong. (by the way, me and jpake were more right than we were wrong about the Cavs this past season. I'm guessing that's why I'm not well liked by Cavs fans)
Let's say the Reds do lose Joey Votto to the Red Sox. I can promise you I won't act like a Cavaliers fan by taking his jersey out back and then burning it in effigy. I also will not dig up everything negative thing Votto does post-departure and try and drag him through the mud. And best of all, I think the Reds will be a little more prepared than Cleveland was. (i.e. they will have a back-up plan and won't be caught with their pants down. Jocketty won't fiddle while Rome is burning). -

if votto holds a national tv special to announce his decision, i can bet someone in cincinnati (whatever bar is shown for reactionary purposes) will play up to the national tv audience by burning his jersey like that one person in cleveland did. hell have you seen what that tennessee fan did after kiffin left? point being if you leave a team in the most fucked up way possible, expect some emotional responses to it.
and what exactly should the cavs backup plan have been? travis outlaw? once the trade deadline passed, it's kind of hard to have a backup plan for lebron leaving (and why would you when the team is winning and lebron is telling everyone in the organization how dedicated he is to bringing a championship to cleveland). -

Uhh did you follow the Lebron situation at all? haha. He didn't talk to or return Cleveland's calls during the weeks leading up to "The Decision." Lebron didn't say anything, yet his actions spoke louder than any words. You would have to be in denial to think that him ignoring the Cavaliers was a good thing. The writing was on the wall. Cleveland fans and Gilbert just didn't want to read it. -

and did you read what i said? after the trade deadline (which is about the same time lebron started acting like the uber-douche to the cavs organization), you can't really have a back-up plan -

who were they going to trade for? Do you honestly think they would have traded Lebron while they were #1 seed in the East? haha. That was never going to happen. Heck even when Lebron confirmed he was leaving, Gilbert still didn't want to trade him in the sign and trade.
You say he acted like a douche after the deadline. Shouldn't that have been a sign that he was probably not staying? My point all along was that if they weren't asleep at the wheel they could have maybe made a run somewhere else. Instead they waited for Lebron (when all signs pointed he was leaving: no communication, having a live special outside of Ohio, numerous media reports saying he was leaving, etc) and because they waited they got stuck with the Joey Grahams of the world. -

you make these blanket statements and then don't follow up. who should the cavs gone after since they were "asleep at the wheel" as you say? even if they renounce both shaq and lebron, they only would have had about 9 million in cap space. is overpaying for the likes of wes matthews, travis outlaw, ronnie brewer or jj redick to not be championship contenders really worth renouncing lebron? in your eyes it may be, but i'd rather wait for the two-time mvp. sure the writing may have been on the wall with lebron's actions over the summer, but the writing's certainly on the wall if you renounce him. -
hoops23LOL, because Joey Votto leaving the Reds is anywhere near the impact on a team/city as LeBron leaving the Cavs? My god, you really are an idiot Jordo.
And made a career about being wrong on here about the Cavs? I think I remember saying the Cavs COULD/SHOULD win the title, but a couple of teams (I.E. Orlando and LA) scared me. I wound up being wrong about Boston, but that's about it. As far as LeBron staying, I said what I had hoped would happen--nothing wrong with that.
You continually get on a Cavs thread and spread BS because half of the stuff you say you're pulling out of your ass. Sometimes I think you and thedynasty are the same guy. -

Didn't say it had the same impact, but let's not pretend Votto is a scrub. He is currently either 1st or 2nd in the NL MVP hunt depending on who you talk to. He's in the top 3 in the pretty much every single offensive category and his team is in 1st place currently. Just because Votto isn't a media whore doesn't mean he isn't good (he won't have a tv special when he re-signs). But I would argue that that is a good thing. Despite what Cleveland fans might think, there are plenty of baseball fans out there, especially in Cincy who care where he plays.
I guess if he does leave we can hire Gilbert to type up a scathing letter in Comic Sans that completely ignores all of the good Votto has done for the franchise and all of the additional $$ he has brought in. After that we can hire Shapiro to trade our good players who still have 1+ years on their contracts for catchers who hit below .200 and utility players. -

Your act on here is getting pretty old itself. You make your way to Cleveland threads, and NEVER have anything good to say about them and also in the process you insult Cleveland fans. Then you always pull your typical "Oh, you can't argue with Cleveland fans/Cleveland fans are butt hurt/Cleveland fans were so delusional" post. What do you expect us to say when the same person (mainly dynasty, and sometimes you) comes onto these threads to only provide negative feedback? You two are are not Cleveland fans, and you never say anything positive about them. HMMM seems like a red flag to me. I wonder what would happen if I (or anyone else) went to cincy threads on a consistent basis and only provided negative feedback. Maybe I will give it a try during the reds post-season. On second thought, I am not a troll, so i will pass. -

How have I insulted Cavalier fans? Check back at this thread. Cleveland boy hoops23 is the only one calling names. I'm just expressing my opinion on a message board.
Don't take this the wrong way, but what could I say good about Cleveland sports? Each team is going to be bad this year (or is bad already Indians) and they are horribly managed/owned.You make your way to Cleveland threads, and NEVER have anything good to say about them
go right ahead. I do not care, I don't get my panties in a bunch about what somebody says on a message board. In fact I hope you do come over to a Reds thread here in a few weeks. thedynasty1998Not sure how I get mentioned in every post by a few certain posters? I'll take it as a compliment.
I've never pretended to be a die hard Cavs fan. I have an interest in them, because they are the only NBA franchise in Ohio, but without Lebron I probably won't watch any of their games. Not sure how that makes me a troll or why everyone on here must be Pro-Cavs and "always keep a positive attitude".
Fact is, Cavs fans defended Lebron all day every day, until he left and then acted surprised. There is a reason he didn't sign an extension earlier and with the roster that Gilbert put around him, or course he was leaving. I'm sorry that Cavs fans don't like to hear it, but it's a fact. Last year we had dumbasses on here praising Varejao. He is a average NBA player, but was argued by some to be the Cavs 2nd best player. That says it all.
Sorry if you all can't handle someone criticizing your team, but it's time to face reality. The Cavs are going to get worse before they get better, and for all of you who claim to be die hard Cavs fans, show me your season tickets in a few years. The Q is going to be empty.
Instead of having discussions on here about how the Cavs should approach rebuillding, how long it will take etc... we have dumbasses on here making stuff up about me threatening to fight them, which never happened. The childish behavior of a few is far more frustrating than a few who have an opinoin against the masses. -

1. You already mocked cavs fans in this thread and numerous other threads. We can all count on you to do it again in the future. That's a form of insult.
2. Wtf is your point about having an opinion on a message board? We are expressing our opinions too, and when we think someone is a troll or idiot, we express our opinion about that.... You are pretty much doing the same thing you claim we do, which is getting our panties in a bunch over a differing opinion. I guess it takes one to know one.
3. So you can't find anything good to say when a team has two straight 60+ win seasons? GTFO.
4. I already said I am not a troll, so I am not going to troll any cincy threads to piss anyone off. You are highly delusional if you think everyone in the thread would just "laugh" though.
As for Dynasty. Varejao was 2nd team all-defense. I think that deserves some praise nice fail. -

How have I "mocked" Cavalier fans? Please give me a few examples. I'm very curious.
I haven't been all negative about Cleveland. Far from it actually. Like I've said before, I'm just expressing my opinion. I was right several times about the Cavs the past 2 years and each time I got barbecued by Cavs fans who couldn't see the light.
Your point about them winning 60+ games is exactly the same point plenty of Cavs fans have made before. It doesn't matter. It is the regular season. There are 4-5 teams worth a crap in the NBA. The rest either suck, don't care, or are a combination of both. Unlike several Cavs fans I have never put much stock in the NBA regular season. You noticed Lebron didn't dance nearly as often in the playoffs, you can't always play the 76ers.
I'm not a troll. I just like talking basketball and there happens to be a team in the state of Ohio (where I live). It's getting to the point where you can't say anything about Cleveland basketball without a bunch of people coming out and calling you a troll just because you choose to live in reality. If you want to "troll" go right ahead. I'd be more than willing to bet we have a little bit of thicker skin in Cincinnati threads. We won't call you an idiot for bringing up points that do not agree with our fall sense of reality. -

Come on man. You dont make comments like "Cavs fans are just butt sore" because you're trying to have an intelligent conversation about basketball. You have to admit that you have done a good amount of "trolling" in these Cavs threads. -

When dealing with a butthurt fanbase (and as a Cavs fan I know many still are), most anything in the contrary will come off as trolling.
Also, the dynasty/CoA pissing match doesn't count, it has nothing to do with anything... it sure wrecked my thread though -

True. My point was that he could go about it in a different way. I could care less, its football season right now.
I dont know what started the pissing match between COA and Dynasty. I know at one point Dynasty made a "bet you wouldnt say that to my face" type comment and it went on from there -

Sure has but acts flabbergasted when he statements such as "the Jamison trade was terrible!" isnt taken as the gospel truth without any sound reasoning behind it, nor any knowledge of how the NBA works/operates. Then when he gets pwned for being a dumbass, acts as if he is right and we're all delusional dumbass cleveland fans. Give me a break. Its a pathetic tired act.
