Reds vs Braves......HUGE Series Game 1

  • Ironman92
The Reds have answered and answered and answered almost every time they have needed to all year....will they do it again and take 2 out of 3?

Cueto is going on game 1..........I'll be there with family in 105....gonna be a large crowd for a big series and fireworks.

    Fortunately we miss Hudson.

Mets beat the Cards today already 4-0... So the Reds enter the last weekend in July 1/2 game ahead of St. Louis for 1st Place
  • dave
Cards lose, Reds are back on top of the division.

I like those left field seats, if you could see the scoreboard I'd sit there all the time other than when the sun is setting.

Friday is the only game not officially sold out yet, but it should. The other 2 are SRO now.
  • dave
Atlanta in a rain delay in Washington, hopefully that lasts awhile.

I'm not sure if I've got anything going on for Friday already. If not I'll be headed down to the ballpark for the game.

    Ironman's buying the first beer.
  • Ironman92
I'll be buying my Dad a beer....it's his birthday tomorrow

    Outback Steakhouse........then a Reds win

Reds will sweep. Braves are in a tailspin. The only chance the Braves have at winning a game is if the Reds annual firesale starts tonight. I'm on the Reds bandwagon for the world series, I don't see how they lose.

    Stop it.

Why? Can't handle the truth? This Reds lineup is the Big Red Machine reborn. Seriously, there are zero holes in the lineup, even their pitchers are tough outs. I honestly don't see anyone in baseball, especially the Braves, putting up much of a fight.

You say it in jest but you are 100% correct.

That might be possible if this weren't serious business.

I would like to apologize to the Reds bullpen too. Completely forgot to mention their return to Nasty Boys status this year.
  • ironman02
This ironman will also be taking in a Reds-Braves game this weekend. I'll be there on Saturday though.
  • Ironman92
shhh.....get out of here, you'll confuse everyone
  • wildcats20
    No he can stay.

    He's a Carolina guy.
  • Ironman92
karen lotz....good try but a touch too bitter for it to work.

I often use that tactic successfully. I've brought a lot of wins to the Steelers and Duke by doing so.
  • darbypitcher22
Reds need to continue the role they're on offensively... I believe they'll miss Hanson on this turn which should help them
  • Ironman92
    He's a Carolina guy....ugh

so he likes tittee blue....big deal

Hanson will go on Sunday but he is a bum. Dusty should thank his lucky stars Lowe went 5 SOLID innings this afternoon against the Nats. Medlen, Jurrjens, and Hanson will ensure that Wagner won't even be in a save situation.

    Bitter?
  • Ironman92
    It seemed pretty bitter.
  • karen lotz
    was not my intention.
  • ironman02
Don't listen to him karen. A dookie/steeler never has anything to say that's worthwhile.

Hey 92. If you can use your reverse mojo abilities to bring an SEOAL title to Jackson football this year, I might be able to forgive you for supporting those awful teams of yours.

Bad words. Stop trying to do what you are doing.
