    goodness

The dumbass wanted to see how much of a rise he could get and now he knows. If he threw a beer first then he is free game....if he did not it is not acceptable or deserving to have a beer or anything thrown on you for clothes that irritate.

People have horrible ideas of how to be funny......this guy is way up there.

I disagree with a very early post using the NY analogy.....I don't think nearly the % of people would be as pissed as in Cleveland...for one the Yankee fans are mostly Yankee junkies....not necessarily Knicks.....many other things to root for in NY besides the Knicks.....Cleveland just has the Browns and Indians......unlike the Yankees who are good the Indians are not and much of the LF fan base is just enjoying some beers.....and then were provoked by a dumbass

I used to feel bad for them, now I hope they suffer. Who literally burns jerseys? Probably the same people that were such obsessive nut huggers of LBJ. Someone once told me there isn't a difference between love and hate-- I see where they were coming from. As for LBJ possibly not playing against Cleveland.. fuck that. They'll play him and his own teammates will tell him to go for the kill. The only people scared of LBJ stepping onto the court are the guys playing against him.

If Wade went on TV and announced he was leaving you better believe Miami fans would do the same thing.

Do Cleveland fans ever accept accountability?

I think the Cleveland fans who were at the game are certainly accountable for their actions.....they just don't regret nor are sorry for them.
  • Cleveland Buck
You notice everyone in here criticizing the Cleveland fans are bandwagon jumpers? Of course they don't understand how real fans feel. How could they? It is just best to ignore them, because in a situation like this, their opinion means absolutely nothing. I'm just disappointed the scumbag didn't leave the game last night with a broken nose.

Seriously, ... Does anyone here really think this guy didn't want this to happen?...Hahahaha....

I'm still waiting on jpakes reply to miami fans burning ricky williams jersey..since you know cleveland fans do it and now you hate them. Williams just up and left, he didnt get on national tv and announce it.
  • hoops23
jpake wouldn't know anything about what Miami fans do down there, because he's from Ohio and lives in Chicago.
  • hoops23
LOL, this one is pretty funny.. Notice the Yankee fans getting in on it too... Also, there were a couple of dudes wearing Pittsburgh gear that were partaking in the fiasco as well...

What do Miami fans have to do with this? Wade didn't leave. Miami didn't do this. Cleveland fans acted like assholes, which isn't something they're unfamiliar with, and looked like idiots to the rest of the country.

Again, what do the Miami fans have to do with this? What do I have to do with this? Are you guys all butt hurt because your boyfriend left and just so happened to come to the team I'm a fan of? Now I'm public enemy #1 because I cheer for that team and just so happen to think what the Cleveland fans did was pathetic and embarrassing? It doesn't matter who does it, so please get that through your very thick skulls fellas. If Miami fans did it, I would certainly call them pathetic. They were pathetic with how they delt with Ricky. So there, you have my reply to your stupid comment. Was it worth waiting for?

I don't hate Cleveland fans. I've just lost respect for them over the years. They've proven they aren't great fans, but merely bandwagon. We've seen what poor records in some sports will do to their fanbase. You're not alone, it's like that in many places. Only a few cities still show the love when their teams aren't very good. But it's just annoying to listen to a lot of Cleveland fans act like they're so damn loyal and good when it's not the case for the majority of the overall fanbase. Here is somebody's cue-- bring up the Miami Heat fanbase because I happen to be a fan of theirs; because you know that has anything to do with this. They're the definition of a bandwagon fanbase, and they know it. So there, brought it up before somebody else could. It's just sad to watch a city act so damn butt hurt over ONE guy. But hey, he was your "King", so I get it. I'm just different than a lot of you guys. I wouldn't have hated Wade had he left. I would have wished him the best and waited for Beasley to break out. Much like I would wish TP the best of luck if he decided to transfer out of OSU for another place.

You got me man. I've never lived in FL, thus it's faaar to complex to understand what a team's fanbase is like. Maybe a smart guy like yourself would be able to understand something of that sort. But me, naaaah, that's out of my realm.

Wow, you suffer from being extremely less intelligent than the median of society. That must be rough.

Oh no! Jpake, an anonymous poster on an internet message board lost respect for Cleveland fans! How will Cleveland fans go on with their lives?

I never had respect for somebody who chooses to bandwagon/wrongwagon a team in another state. So I guess we're even, no?

Sigh.. It's impossible for Cleveland fans to "bandwagon" their own fucking team, we LIVE in Ohio--you can't bandwagon your hometown/state team... Maybe fairweather is the word you're looking for? Which if that's the case, EVERY SINGLE FAN BASE is guilty of that.

Lets say that Lebron was born and raised 30 minutes from New York city. He was then drafted by the Knicks. After 7 yrs with the Knicks he goes on Natl TV and announces hes going to Miami. Few weeks later a guy in a Lebron Heat jersey shows up to Yankee stadium to take in a ball game. You tell me what you think the reaction from the fans would be. You're fooling yourself if you think Cleveland is the only place something like this would happen.

You're a Gator fan right? I was at a Florida vs Tenn game a few years ago. I saw several Vol fans get beer thrown at them on the way to the stadium. Gators fans should be fucking ashamed of themselves. There are bad seeds in every crowd dude. You mix alcohol and emotions and this is the kidn of shit you get.

    Beer? Beer?

Florida "fans", all of whom congealed in a gutter around the same time that Alfred E. Spurrier came back to that sinkhole, have an unhealthy obsession with their own urine. They piss into cups to throw at opposing fans, they piss into Super Soakers to spray at opposing fans, and they piss into water balloons...to throw at opposing fans. (As for the question of "How the hell can someone get their dick in something as small as the opening of a water balloon?", we're talking about Florida fans here)

So what if he wore the OSU hat in public down in Miami and got the same treatment(wouldn't be nearly to the same extent though)? Would OSU fans be OK with it?

    http://www.clevelandfrowns.com/2010/07/too-soon-cleveland-frowns-exclusive-guy.html

One underreported fact about Bellamy is that he was wearing a Buckeyes hat. He told me that he was born in Lakeland, Florida but moved to Sandusky when his parents divorced when he was 11. Wendy confirmed that they were from Sandusky. Bellamy also said he worked in a factory in Sandusky.
Wendy also told me that Bellamy had a four-inch scar on the back of his head from having been mugged and pistol-whipped somewhere in Sandusky. When I asked him why he wore the jersey, he told me that he'd live down in Florida if he could figure out a way to make it happen, and understands why LeBron would do the same. "[Eff] the haters," he said.
Bellamy knew he'd get a bad reaction, and he got one, along with an adrenaline rush and a lot of grief from Wendy, who, after having been escorted from the park repeatedly told me "I told him not to wear it," and repeatedly told Bellamy, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO WEAR IT." It's hard to say anyone would have held up much better after being hit with this kind of hate wave.
Even the girlfriend knew better. What a douche this kid is.

Browns fans are easily some of the most loyal in the country. Browns backers are one of the biggest backer clubs in the NFL.

As far as being Public Enemy number 1........ Statements about how "PATHETIC" you think Cleveland fans look along with "I hope Cleveland fans suffer" arent exactly helping your cause. You're acting as if Miami fans are above something like this and thats not the case.

nah, man i dont have a problem with you at all. I know you were a fan of the Heat before this. Its just you say Cleveland fans are an embarassment and pathetic for throwing beer and burning jerseys and i pointed out that miami fans do it and im sure just about every other passionate fan base would do it too. And I dont think you can compare Wade leaving to Lebron, the hometown kid, the "king", the best player on the only franchise in cleveland worth 2 shits, leaving on national television.

What do Miami fans have to do with it? The fact you are calling out Cleveland fans for their "wrongdoings" yet Miami "fans" (i use that term loosely) practically have done the same thing. So what does that mean? It means you are hypocrite. He who lives in a glass house should not throw stones.

Also lol at saying cleveland fans are bandwagon fans. Yeah dude these are great reasons why I become a cleveland bandwagoner!: No championship since 1964, losing in the most heartwrenching ways (the drive, fumble, jose mesa etc), and seeing our owner move our team away only for that team to win a super bowl 5 years later. GTFO.

Once again don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. The heat couldn't even sell out their arena during playoff games! I am glad it takes three superstars to sell out the stadium. Even worse the Dolphins couldn't sell out their stadium during their 11-5 season 2 years ago, and there are only 8 home games a season in the NFL. You on the other hand, you are from Ohio and you live in Chicago, and you are a Miami fan? LMAO ok. I was in LA for 3 months last summer, and that wasn't enough to understand what their fan base is like. Don't try to give me shit about going to vacation there, because that isn't enough to understand a fan base.... or actually maybe it is, since they are all bandwagoner and fair weather fans.

I think you could call Cleveland fans a lot of things. Bandwagon fans isn't one of them LOL
