Fab1bGoing way too far now!! If this guy didn't start anything than the fans went way too far and it makes it even more embarrassing to be a Cleveland fan!! I wouldn't ever attack another fan regardless of what they are wearing unless they did something inappropriate to me first!!
-
mallymal614....Cleveland fans reputation takes yet another hit. smh

WooballThis is a description from RCF:
WOW GUYS WOWWWWWWWWW! I was there tonight...
This dude in the lebron #6 heat jersey took a BRUTAL verbal beating and plenty of beer showers. His original seat (and his crazy bitch girlfriend get to her later) was in the left field bleachers. Let me give you a rundown of what a d-bag this guy is...
1. LBJ heat jersey
2. Sporting under armour red long sleeves underneath
3. backwards cap (never saw what team, possibly NYY)
4. Sporting gangsigns when we got the asshole chants going...
5. Flicked crowd off while being ushered out of park
Anyways, back to the craziness...
Starts when he heads up the left field bleacher seats.... the asshole chant starts and the story starts to spread. Things dim down until he goes down the steps with his gf... chant starts up again. He then proceeds to walk towards concessions or something on the third base side. Chants scatter down the left field line and by 3rd base. After this is where the fun begins...
He decides lets go back up to our seats in left. Little did he realize people are a bit more drunk in the 6th than the 2nd. People were following him up the steps, and then the fucker threw a beer on a dude. (he got his own a bit later). Guy who had beer thrown on him then goes to the usher, and asks him to be booted out. In the meantime, a 45-50 year old tank/built mother fucker starts talking shit to him (10 rows down) along with possibly this guys 22-24 year old son. The usher walks up, and boots them with a police officer (who did an awful job controlling it.). On the way down, the 22-24 year old son is talking shit, and crazy pyscho bitch girlfriend goes all WWE with a flailing forehand to the chest. (girl was not arrested somehow). Dude almost retaliated, but did not.
He took so much shit all the way down the steps, had 20 to 30 beers just that i saw thrown on him (from pepsi porch). He then was outside the gate, and would not leave sucking up all the attention he could. Police then forced all away from the gates, so that he would leave.
Needless to say, I hope this little shithead gets what is coming to him too, just like a certain ASSHOLE.
Let me tell you guys... if you can somehow get tickets to LBJ's 1st game, GET EM. ITS GONNA BE UNREAL. I had a blast tonight (even though I didn't catch #600).
Hope this fills you in. Still a bit drunk so i apologize for grammar/spelling/caps...... shoulda used comic sans.
Two edits: after talking to my buddy just now about it again... said the dude had an OSU hat on. (sounds like a frontrunner). Other edit is that you can see his girlfriend in that picture... between usher in blue and guy in red taking picture of it. -
thedynasty1998Worst part about that story, "20-30 beers thrown on him". Why waste a perfectly good $9 beer?
-
queencitybuckeyeWhat motivates a person to wear something to a game when they know what the reaction will be?
How weak is the person who reacts that way? -
TiernanI can't believe there are still 20 - 30 people who attend Indian games.
-
WooballIf you are the Miami Heat, do you even allow LBJ to make the 2 trips to NE Ohio this year? I mean if this happens to a guy wearing a jersey at an indians game, what is going to happen when #6 himself walks into the Q with an opposing teams uniform on? The possible dangers seem too much for a team with that investment and aspirations on the line to risk, IMO.
-
like_thatSounds like a real life troll to me. I don't feel bad for him at all.
-
Mohican00The guy was asking for it and as far as I'm concerned, the reaction was fine. No assaults, just taunting and getting drenched in beer.

2quik4ui knew SQ was stupid but not this stupid

AutomatikStay classy Cleveland!
What a sad sad place. -
Fab1bSeriously guys I am a die hard Indians fan but this is crap. Unless the guy spoke out first he is entitled to spend his money on that stupid ass jersey and wear it. I mean sure he is an attention whore and knew that it would get a rise if he wore it but why give him the pleasure of capturing 15 minutes of minute fame from this? Why keep Cleveland sports in the news for negative reasons??? It is already negative enough that none of our pro fanchises can win and no one seems to want to play there either!!

I really don't think this is a big deal. I mean there was no physical harm. The fans chanted "ASSHOLE" at him and threw some things at him. This seriously happens at least once a game during Browns season (more often depending on the opponent). If this was Philadelphia fans doing this, it would be laughed off or not even mentioned. -
thedynasty1998I really don't see anything wrong with it, and I'm not a die hard Cavs fan. The dude is a douche and knew that in wearing that jersey he was going to piss everyone off. I would have been shocked if he wasn't treated that way. It doesn't sound like he was assaulted in any way, so there is nothing wrong with a verbal beating for someone that was asking for it.

devil1197Common sense people, common sense.
Don't wear that jersey in the stadium and NOT expect people to act negatively especially when consuming beer.
I've heard a lot worse and seen a lot worse at the ball parks. -

Coming from the Pittsburgh fan, that's pretty hilarious. At least we throw around beer in Cleveland; in Pittsburgh, they throw around AIDS -

Really? I've seen much worse in college stadiums and other pro stadiums (especially Dodger stadium) than this instance. Nothing physical took place. -
DeyDurkie5this is awesome...greatest fans in the world

gibby08Cleveland fans should be fucking ashamed of themselves..
This is why no athlete wants to come play in Cleveland, because of the fans -

the fans are the only thing cleveland has going for them...who wouldnt want to play for a fanhood that supports their team that much? -
gibby08Maybe because they are assholes, and what support??
-The Indians have set low attendance records 5 times this year
-The Cavs are projected to draw less than 10,000 a game this year
-Only team that has had continued support up there are the Browns, and that will never change no matter how bad they suck -
BRFLine me up on the side of the posters who say "he deserved it", because he did, IMO! Ha Ha!
