Who's the Star in Miami?

  • ernest_t_bass
OK... if LeBron doesn't go to Miami, please close this thread. However, if he DOES go to Miami...

Who's the star in Miami? Here is a pic I found on another thread:

Is this the way it will be? Will D. Wade be the front man, or will LeBron immediately take the reins?

My money is on LeBron taking over. People are really stupid. Loyal Miami fans will be going out and buying their LeBron jerseys, hanging up the D. Wade jerseys, and sporting their #23's around town.

    Who's the star?
  • Trueblue23
Well that could be true, but #23 is retired in Miami. SMH.

the star of miami is high quality cocaine...delicious amounts of the devil's dandruff
  • ts1227
Or will it be Pat Riley, when he runs out the coach so he can take credit for coaching them to greatness while managing the egos?

(which will be interesting considering that motherfucker has an ego about as big as all three of them)

Ha! That won't last. I'm sure that's part of the deal.

wade his team and already won a title

Seeing that picture above. That's not LeBron. He won't settle for that.

Uhhhhhh LeBron is changing his number to 6 fellas....

Miami is D-Wade's team, and that won't change. Also, LBJ will be wearing #6 wherever he plays.
  • Laley23
D-Wade. LeBron may very well be the best player on the team, but its D-Wades team. The fans will love Wade first and then LeBron.
  • Ytowngirlinfla
I still don't see why he would want to play second fiddle to D Wade...You can't expect Wade to step back and say here Lebron take the reigns.
  • ernest_t_bass
When did he make the decision to wear #6, wherever he went?
  • Sonofanump
I heard he is gonna wear #33 to be the next Scottie Pippen.

Who cares? LeBron did what I would do. Leave a shithole to go beast on the league with his homie. I applaud his decision.

But hes been lying for years saying he wants to be the greatest ever. He wont even be the greatest Heat ever now. The only chance he had was to stay in Cleveland.

Greatest ever would not have occurred in Cleveland either. Too many stars in Miami, too few in Cleveland (there's no one left to sign).

One of them got an hour long special in prime time the other two got a ten minute segment on sportscenter in the morning. Which one do you think is the star?

Hes only 25 though. Im not saying they wouldve won it next year (but with LeBron, any team CAN win). But if he signs a max deal, and then an extension (ie, his whole career in Cleveland) he had a chance to take that label from the majority of people.

MJ is the greatest ever and thats never going to change......EVER.

LeBron wants to and will be a great one when his career is over. Like I said in the other thread. He left money on the table to play with a friend in a badass city and beast on the league. I'm making that choice every single time.

LBJ will have the best stats on that team-- it's just what he does. Miami isn't a loyal fan base, but when it's going good, they're damn good. They LOOOVE Wade, but trust me, they were throwing him under the bus because of Chicago RUMORS. I WOULD NOT be surprised to see LBJ take over the Heat team in a year or two. I don't think there is much debate who the better players is, and with Miami having the fan base they do, you might see more LBJ jerseys than Wade jerseys at sometime.

    D. Wade
  • jpake1
Coming from a Heat fan, that isn't crazy like them South Beach fuckers.. I will say this-- I will FOREVER remember Wade standing on the commentators booth screaming "This is my fucking house". It'll be their team, or else they will fail... but it'll ALWAYS be his house.

Who "The Star" is in Miami has not changed one bit. It was and till is Pat Riley.
