He is also to blame but to pinpoint their exit solely on LeBron is straight asinine. There were many reasons for Cleveland's premature exit.
Or how about Game 4 when the Cavs got it down to 4 points with 9:33 remaining and LeBron completely fucks up the rest of the game. We win game 4, we go up 3-1... Series over for Boston.
No, instead LeBron passes up two WIDE open drives to Andy Varejao and of course, since LeBron doesn't initiate anything until 5 seconds left on the shot clock, Andy was forced to shoot two terrible jumpshots.
Again, a 4 point deficit with with 9:33 remaining.
Again this is Game 4... Following the 124-95 thrashing the Cavs put on Boston in Game 3.
That 4 point deficit turned into a 10 point defeat. Boston tied it up 2-2 and obviously went on to win 4-2.
The series was thrown.
Brian Windhorst just wrote a brilliant article that the "Super team" had this planned for years, and it truly looks like it.. Think about it.. If the Cavs go on to beat Boston and Orlando, LeBron would have looked even worse leaving.. Since he lost in the 2nd round, it was an easy out... Or so he thought.
