Chris Bosh to Miami
-
sjmvsfscs08It just broke on ESPN. damn it.
-
gorocks99Maybe I'm way off, but I think this all but assures LBJ will be back in Cleveland.
-
mallymal614Skip Bayless just said he made the right decision by choosing to play with 'the best' player in this year's free agency. lol loves taking shots at Lebron.
-
newarkcatholicfanAwesome choice for the smart man.

Not saying I completely agree with Skip, but people forget how good Wade is. He's been playing with garbage the past few years. Wade knows how to win a championship, Riley knows how to build championship level teams, the weather is nice, the partying is better, and there is no state income tax. No brainer if you ask me -

This is what did it in my opinion. He can leave $30,000,000 on the table due to not getting a sign-and-trade, and he won't be too hurt by it due to Florida's no state income tax laws. Solid move by Bosh no doubt.
I think this means Lebron is staying in Cleveland. Reports last night were that Cleveland and Toronto had agreed to a sign-and-trade but that Chris Bosh simply refused to live in Cleveland (can you blame him?). I'm guessing Lebron decided to stay in Cleveland and tried to get Bosh but Bosh said "no thanks" and went to Miami.
What does Cleveland do from here? They need a big guy....or do they trade for Chris Paul and hope Hickson and Varejao can manage while Lebron and Chris Paul dominate? -
jpake1Although Bosh wants to get paid, the money hasn't been a big issue in terms of Miami. People throw out that 30M number, but it's a bit of BS. The big difference is the last 6th year. If they can get that another way, it's not a big deal at all. The difference between the first 5 years with Toronto or S&T compared to signing outright is just 4.1M. Since Miami doesn't have income tax, that 4.1M decreases by a lot. If he went the route of short term deal of 3 years it's a differencec of 1.2M; however, he may make MORE in Miami because of the no tax. If he went for 4 years the difference would be 2.5M, and he's make most of that back in Miami. If he did an opt out after 3-4 years, I'm sure Miami would extend him at the max to give him that 6 years. By that time, he'd be very very close to bringing in that 125M max contract. When you add on an extra year and no income tax, Miami can give a FA very very close to the max without a S&T. They player just have to believe that when they're 28yrs young, they'll get the 2-3 year extension if they've got an opt out after 3-4 years.

thedynasty1998Everyone seems to think that this move means Lebron is back in Cleveland. I don't see that. First off, if he were going to stay, why not announce in Akron or in Cleveland so he can be embraced? Secondly, this makes the East even more top heavy and while other teams are improving, the Cavs are stuck. I still think there is a chance he heads to Miami or New York.

j_crazyI bet my Vcash on the Clippers (50:1 odds) but i think, that if he's gone, it will most likely be to NJ or NYK.
I love the Nets with LBJ:
Lopez, Favors, James, Lee, Harris, CDR, Yi -

Yi plays for the Wizards now.
I'd love the Nets situation if I was Lebron. Obviously they'd keep Brook Lopez. But they could swing Devin Harris and Favors for some nice pieces. Plus they seem to have great ownership -
BR1986FBChris Bosh: 7 seasons, 1 2nd-team All-NBA, 0 All-D's, 5 lotteries. Career: 211-320. Playoffs: 3-8. No more calling him a "superstar" please.

Paul isn't getting traded -

fixed it for you. the current owners want to move either cp3 or collison, Chouest is NOT going to move cp3 and doesn't necessarily want to move collison. -
KR1245Cavs arent "stuck" they have some players that they can package. Missing out on Bosh hurts but it doesnt mean the Cavs roster automatically stays the same.

THANK YOU.
Bosh is NOT a superstar. He is maybe, MAYBE a 3rd player on a team. Not a centerpiece and not a "Robin." -
gibby08^^^
You are fucking high if you believe that -

Well than I'm high as well. Chris Bosh cant carry a team by himself. He is a "star" but hes not a "superstar" -

No he's not. Bosh is FAR from a centerpiece. He's NOT someone who is going to win you a championship.
EDIT: KR....might as well pass it over here and let me take a hit too. -
gibby08I agree he's not a superstar...but to think he is only "maybe" a third player on a team is dumb

No, a 1 and 2 should be able to take over a game at any point and dominate it. Bosh can not do that.
Jordan and Pip could do it.
Shaq and Kobe could do it.
PP and KG could do it.
Kobe and Pau can do it.
Wade and Bosh...no
Bron and Bosh...no -
KR1245Bosh plays in the Eastern conference and he hasnt been able to get his team out of the first round. If Bosh was a 'superstar" his team would be in the playoffs every year.......hell, all you gotta do is finish around.500.
-
gibby08It's amazing how fast some of you Cleveland people turned on Bosh so fast after pretty much kissing his ass for two months
-
KR1245Nobody ever said Bosh wuldnt be a great addition.......he would. Dudes not a superstar, thats all we are saying.
-
wildcats20I'm not a Cavs fan, but from day 1 I have never been high on Bosh.
People were talking about Bosh coming to LA, I said no way. I don't want him near my team. -
gibby08^^^
Then you are very very stupid
