  The U.S. had 17.5 million kids playing youth soccer alone in 2002, and the number has probably risen even higher since then.
  
  So unless over 90+% of everyone in Ghana plays soccer I would highly doubt it.

  I would think so. Youth soccer is pretty popular. It's the adults that don't really get into it (although I think it's slowly changing).
