Cleveland

  • Al Capone
After hearing the hapless Pirates beat the Indians for the 2nd day in a row, I was wondering if Cleveland is the worst sports city in the country? I mean the Browns are annually the laughing stock of the NFL, the Indians had some good years but routinely suck and the Cavs will be a lottery team when LBJ leaves in a couple of weeks.
I know coming from Pittsburgh( City of Champions ) we have championship trophies coming out our asses, but I would like to know what's it like to be a fan of Cleveland( mistake by the lake ) sports teams.
Be honest, how bad is it?

Celebrating a series win by a minor league team over another minor league team....lol. This is even a stretch for you.

Cool story bro...SIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I feel bad for you. Having no friends must get lonely.

Hey everybody, look at me, I live in one state, and cheer for a team from another state....I'm a winner.

    LOL, "City of Champions"?

    That's definitely a stretch.

    "I know coming from Pittsburgh"

This quote makes me laugh, when you bandwagon a team, it doesn't mean your from there.

In the OP's case it would be first piece of ass/threesome. I can hear it right now.."not bad, sis but mom was better."

At least we are loyal to our teams.

Man, there are quite a few of us on here who are Pittsburgh fans that despise Cleveland......but shit like this is just lame trolling.

Sorry that you guys have to read shit like this.
  • GoPens
Yea, Pittsburgh fan here who hates everything Cleveland. I love laughing at their expense, but we're not all like Capone.
  • Heretic
I concur with Killer and GoPens. Trash talking is a part of fanhood, but there's a line between talking trash and just being an asshole. Most of us fans of either cities' teams are on one side of that line...and then you have Al and Skank.

Some people have a hard time seperating a sports rivalry from reality. As a Buckeye and Browns fan, I really don't hate people from Michigan or Pittsburgh outside the context of the game. Are some of their fans assholes? Sure....but so are some of ours. Usually they are the ones like Capone who don't grasp sports rivalry concepts very well. Personally, as a Browns fan, I'm grateful to the Rooney's and their help in getting the NFL to put a franchise back in Cleveland after our former owner sold out. Art III and Dan Rooney, incidentally, were educated in the Cleveland area...going to school at Gilmour Academy.

I concur with Killer in concurring with Hits. To me, a sports rivalry is best when both teams are good and playing for something more than bragging rights. I want Cleveland to be the best little #2 team they can be (NOTE FOR GOCHIEFS: I'm not saying I want them to be like Kurt Busch on a hot streak ;)). Because, let's face it...what is sweeter than watching your team be the one that put that dagger in the heart of its rival?

Pittsburgh beating Cleveland in baseball (or vice versa) means nothing when both teams currently suck. If it was the World Series...FUCKING HEAVEN!!!! In the same vein, the only two wins by Pittsburgh over Cleveland during the past couple decades I cared about for any real length of time were the two in the playoffs...because they had legit teams that year and the Steelers ended them. If they're a 3-13 caliber team and get beat by my team, that's like punking out mtrulz for his lunch money. If they're a playoff team and get beat by mine, that's fucking bragging rights!

I gotta tell ya, I was at the Saturday night game and had a ball. I'm a diehard Cleveland fan (all the teams), but the Pittsburgh fans were OK during and after the game. As long as Cleveland fans avoid that god-awful IC beer (world's worst , it will shorten your life if you drink it) you can have fun in Pittsburgh.

It seemed there were almost as many Indian fans at the game as there were Pirate followers. Nice to see all those good looking Cleveland babes dressed in Wahoo red. Which reminds me, the Pittsburgh women won't win any beauty contests. Ugly, very ugly.

    hahahahahaha...

Al Capone is probably the most simple minded poster on this website, seriously, this guy is pretty damn stupid. He takes ignorance to a whole new level.

Not only that, but how sad is your life that your only objective is to come onto a message board and post the SAME shit everyday? Literally, everyday. SMH at you and SMH at your mom for giving birth to a RATARD
