Weren't you sucking on your mom's tits ten years ago? How the fuck do you remember what basketball was like ten years ago, cum guzzler? -

He must have woke up, started drinking and got so wasted by 12:14 p.m. that he forgot he's impersonating a 15-year-old.
As for the game, without Perkins, Boston is in BIG trouble. Dude's a pure blood-n-guts kind of player. They'll need their guards to be huge, Big Baby to have a huge game and Rasheed to demonstrate sanity in what likely will be an enlarged role. On the road against a Lakers team smelling blood. VERY tall order for any team. -

I have always been a sports fan. -

Rebel_ I.N.S.Perk is out for game seven with torn knee ligaments. Don't look good for the C's on Thursday.

j_crazyFrom what I've watched of this series (admittedly, it's not much) I've gathered that the Celtics really dictate how things go with their defense. I've seen action where the Lakers are winning, but every shot is a heavily contested shot, but the game is closer, and faster paced. I've also seen where the lakers run 15 seconds off the clock with really no pressure and run something that leads to a pretty good shot, those types of things have always reflected a sizeable LA lead. seems like if boston can make the lakers work for their shots, they have a chance (but even if they do stop LA, they have been very sporadic offensively from what I've seen), if the lakers are getting easy looks early, I don't think it will be a down to the wire game unless boston shoots lights out.

j_crazyalso, call me naive, but with all the other breaks and long lay offs during the NBA playoffs, I'd have thought they'd be smart enough not to have game 7 of the finals on a fucking thursday...

Same here. I really thought game 7 would be a Sunday. Mainly because it would mean the pearlies come out though!! lol -
wildcats20As much as I hate Perk, I do feel bad for him and wish him a quick recovery. He's torn his MCL and PCL, which from what I have heard is worse than tearing your ACL.

osu45804I feel ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE for Perkins It's almost like a kick to the nuts for Celtics fans as well... Perk is such a good guy & gives EVERYTHING he has out on the court. I'd say the majority of the NBA fans hate him probably. But DAMN IT losing your starting Center and the anchor of your defense to injury for game 7 of the NBA Finals is devastating. BUT we don't really lose points & offensive productivity from Perk it's our defense that will suffer. Perk is able to bang w/ Gasol, Bynum & Odom down low, Sheed & Baby can't that much. They just have to suck it up and contribute and hopefully get SOMETHING from the Bench and just hope the rest of the starters do what they did in game 6. Because despite everything that went wrong offensively we still held LA to under 90 points. There is NO WAY I expect to look that sloppy on offense & I will give just a little break b/c I'm guessing they had a little loss of focus when Perk went down and lost all concentration for a little bit & by the time they woke up it was too late. I love this team w/ a passion So I'm HOPING to see a throwback game from Sheed and Big Baby from game 4 and I want to see Tony Allen on Kobe, Bryant was 1-7 shooting with Tony on him in game 6. Rondo needs to be Rondo from the Cavs series in game 7. Pierce, KG, Ray can add to their legacy in game 7. I can handle losing but I cannot handle watching what I saw in game 6.

wildcats20OSU...
Do you really think Doc will go with Scal in game 7?? I know he said it's an option, but I really don't see how it can work. Dude hasn't played in a game in like 3 months. I think you go with who you have and give some more minutes to Shelden and maybe even Finley. -

Now you have a SMALL taste for how Laker fans felt about not Having their starting center for the entire series in 2008. -
osu45804Finley & Shelden both dressed for Game 7 so w/ Perk out Scalabrine is our last option, who else they gonna suit up Tyrone Lue? lol ..... Shelden is absolutely TERRIBLE ... He is a good person and talks to C's fans on twitter & even did a contest for every home game for the playoffs & gave 2 lucky fans a ticket. But last night I was just as productive as Shelden. With Scalabrine he at least stretches the floor like a Rasheed Wallace & he has been with this team for I think 4 years now and knows the offense better than Shelden. I mean honestly Scal cannot give less effort than Williams did last night.... And I do NOT want to see Michael Finley on the court at all unless we can play with 6 guys and Finley is just allowed to stay in the corner to shoot 3's while we play defense b/c everyone can get past him.... We just need to focus and if LA starts out fast early to not get so down.

wes_mantoothI still think Boston is the better team, but this Perkins injury is a killer. I look for the Lakers to win by 8-10 points. No way Sheed and Big Baby can bang with the Lakers length.

Yeah somewhat... Not trying to start anything, Was Bynum out the whole playoffs or just the Finals? Because it's a little different losing your Center for the whole playoffs you have so long to make adjustments and as the rounds go on you are more and more comfortable with what you got. We got ONE day to change a little of what we do, Now I doubt Doc changes that much. But it's just a little more dramatic and heartbreaking to get this far with this core group to lose a main piece w/ just Game 7 left... But damn it sucks ass But we just HAVE to suck it up and do what we do & hope for "Wierd Kobe" to show up like Skip Bayless likes to refer to him sometimes lol -
gorocks99Weird Kobe ain't showing up for a Game 7, we gotta hope for dumbass Pau and his ugly sister Lamar to show up.
-
wildcats20Bynum was out for a lot of the regular season and all of the playoffs.
Just looked it up and he went out in the middle of January. -
osu45804Honestly watching Artest go off, Lamar, Shannon Brown, Farmar and even SASHA spotting up for 3's it FELT like LA put up 120 points on us but it was less than 90. Honestly all of the Celtics played like Weird Kobe last night and started to try and do things they couldn't do. COMPOSURE is the KEY to game 7 and NOT to complain about the officials ... but GOD I HOPE we get a decent crew and I'm not saying favor Boston but do realize we are a man down and don't be so aggressive with the whistles.

jpake1Lakers close it out. I said the Celtics would meet up with the Lakers in the finals, but that that Lake Show would be too much. Perkins not being there will hurt. It'll either rally the troops, or it'll be a game like last night. I think the Lakers would win even if Perkins didn't get hurt, but I think LA is just too much at home. Kobe will be Kobe. I think Fisher comes out strong after a poor game. Then I think everybody else is just their solid selves like they've been all year at home. I think the ONLY way Boston wins this game is if Rondo gets a near triple double. He'll have to be a rebounding machine and getting everybody involved. If he isn't the closer on that team tomorrow night, they're getting closed.
-
Rebel_ I.N.S.^^^^^^Either way someone is getting closed out it's game 7.
-
jpake1Did you think of that one all on your own?! Good job little buddy!

Rebel_ I.N.S.Yea you know I have some gems ; )

osu45804This is for Gorocks & any other Celtics fan tonight, A little prayer never hurt so.....
Our father who art in Boston. Basketball be thy name. Thy Championship will be won. Thy will be done, On the court, as well as in the stands. Give us this day our dunks and free throws. And forgive us our fouls, as we forgive those who foul against us. Lead us not into elimination. But deliver us to victory. In the name of ......the fans, the Bird, and in the name of the Celtics. Amen.
