ANYTHING can happen. We took down Spain when most "experts" were predicting a 3 goal beatdown. -

Mighty Macedonia held Englad to a 0-0 Draw followed by a 1-0 loss. Isreal also held them to a 0-0 draw. England can score, but they can also be defended more than most imo. I dont think they have the greatest attack in the world. It is Rooney doing a lot by myself, if they need a true build-up they arent all that great. -
sjmvsfscs08That US Soccer logo with the rattle snake is awesome
Oh, and I'm hoping for a 2-2 draw.
Has anyone bought the World Cup game for 360? I was looking at it and thought it be fun to play with the guy friends while we get smashed prior to the real games. We are all huge football guys but we get absolutely stoked for the World Cup. -
fan_from_texasI love the Gadsden Flag U.S. soccer logo. That's pretty awesome.
This is an optimistic bunch. I think a draw would be huge for the US, but a win would really be stretching it. I'm excited about watching it, though. -

Yeah I agree about their build up play, but they do have sir wayne attacking our very thin back line. I can see them holding them, I just don't see how so many people can shrug off rooney because he is literally going to light our shit up. -
gorocks99We'll just get Rooney to stomp on one of our player's legs. No big.

CinciX1210 people actually think we can win? Or is that a blind faith vote?
We seriously don't have the talent to keep up with England but that doesn't mean I don't hope we win. Nothing would be funnier to me to see English football be destroyed by the Americans for another 4 years. A loss to us and I can see them collapsing the rest of group play just of broken hearts. -
3reppomIt's one game so the talent gap between the two can be negated with good play. The thing that gives the US a good chance in this match is their ability to maintain their shape under pressure. Everyone has their job, they know it and they execute it fairly well. The US does play a very ridged and regimented style that the Three Lions have struggled against recently. England had that friendly with Japan who plays a very similar style and they looked thoroughly average, they needed those two late own goals to get the win. England has Rooney who can be that singular force when he get the ball on time in his favored places, but the service into him has been poor as of late which has resulted in a very glitchy offensive performance.

Just an FYI on England. I think many of you are forgetting who their coach is now. Fabio Capello does not have England playing the old English way of "run and gun" football. England is much more organized than they used to be, their players also know their roles and let's be honest, they have better players. Capello has figured out a way for Gerrard and Lampard to coexist in the midfield together, that's a task in itself. Again, I would love nothing more than to see the USA win but if they can get a draw it's just as good IMO and a great start to getting out of the group. -

Stop acting like a know it all, arrogant douchebag..."Just an FYI, England's coach is..."

Fuck you dick head! And YES, I know a hell of alot more than your lame ass does when it comes to football.........global or American!
It's mindless fuck ups like you that ruin a good discussion. You don't have a clue at how England has changed their style of play and it's a direct result of their coach. You could of made a rational comment about that but you're to stupid to realize it. -

Look out....we got a know-it-all!
On a serious note. Since you say you know so much....how do you watch the games? I used to have Sentanta when I had DirecTV, but it wasn't worth the extra cost. Comcast is so so when it comes to broadcasting games....so I usually find a feed online. -
slingshot4everI'm not going to be greedy. I just want the draw. I will probably stay at home and watch it in HD on my new 46'' LED TV.

Right, but if youve been watching their games recently they havent been able to get him the ball. Thus, the offense has been stagnant. -

You also act like you know everything about hockey for someone that has probably never even put on hockey gloves. Stop embarrassing yourself. -
