Cameroon playing a very good second half. If this keeps up I would expect a 1-1 draw.
  • gorocks99
They're having trouble breaking Japan's defense once they're at the penalty area though. Will not be surprised at all if Japan comes away with the 1-0 win here.

These Asian teams are good this year. I have S. Korea as my sleeper.
  • gorocks99
OHHHH what a chance for Cameroon!
  • Laley23
I done like the position that Eto'o is playing. He isnt the middle striker and it is hurting their final 3rd. He is there now, but its a little late.
  • gorocks99
HOLY SHIT it should be tied right now.
  • gorocks99
    Japan 1, Cameroon 0.

I'd say that qualifies as a pretty big upset.
  • Laley23
Yeah, because Japan isnt really very good. Id expect them to get beat bat by Netherlands and Denmark should be able to beat them. Cameroon is going to really have to play great vs Denmark and come away with a win. That sets them up for the chance to hope for a draw with Netherlands for the group second place or a draw and go through on GD possibly. Longshot though. Denmark, despite the loss, has to be LOVING their position right now.

Sepp Blatter/FIFA have reiterated that if you don't like vuvuzelas, you can essentially go fuck yourself and turn down the TV. No ban is coming.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2010/article-1286491/WORLD-CUP-2010-Vuvuzelas-wont-banned-insist-South-Africa-chiefs.html

Blatter, writing on Twitter, said: 'To answer all your messages re the Vuvuzelas. I have always said that Africa has a different rhythm, a different sound.

'I don't see banning the music traditions of fans in their own country. Would you want to see a ban on the fan traditions in your country?'

Good for him. They're annoying but not worth banning, especially at this point.

Except they do not have refs to rig the matches for them in their own home country.

I don't give a shit about soccer anyway, but I definitely can't watch and listen to the noise of a million kazoo players.

Ya got a point but both wins in this cup are more than legit.

Looked like that guy just got sniped...
  • karen lotz
    ...oh wait he is fine
  • Fab1b
That was one of the worst dives ever he should have gotten carded for that!
  • karen lotz
no way he is in great pain. Didn't you see the agony on his face?
  • Fab1b
    ha ha

The announcer cracked me up "Looked like he took himself out, that was a weird one for sure"
  • gerb131
Did they hit him with the Magic Freeze in a can?
  • Fab1b
Wasn't needed, he was told by the ref to get up and what do you know he is fine!
  • karen lotz
Not only was he fine, he had a huge smile on his face while getting helped to his feet, only seconds after looking as if his Achilles tendon had been shredded.
