Sorry United....NO 4peat for you!!!

I don't like Cheslsea, but I despise Man United!

Drogba gets a hat trick today in an 8-0 win today over Wigan to clinch the EPL title.

    go blueeeeeeeeeeeeeees

Today was a good day because of this.

    8-0. What a day.

Drogba won the golden boot too :)

29 league goals is impressive....considering last years Golden Boot went to Anelka with only 19. That would have gotten him 6th this year.

As much as I dislike United, I'm a huge fan of Wayne Rooney and was rooting for him to win the award. I remember last year when they finalized Ronaldo's move to Madrid they interviewed him. He came out confident as hell and said it was his time to score and that he would net 30 this season. Nice prediction 26 in league...34 in all comps.

Incredibly, that wasn't the only time Wigan lost by 8 goals this season. Tottenham beat them 9-1 earlier in the year.

Chelsea has been on a rampage scoring goals to end the season.

Wow, just wow. I am just now watching the BPL highlight show on FSOhio and this is domination like I cant comprehend.

In fairness though the red card in the box for the first PK that Lampard took shouldn't have been a send off, there was very little contact if any at all. Like it would have even mattered the way they played today though.

Yeah I'm also watching. Wigan got SCHOOLED.

I bet they were having a few brews in West London tonight!

You guys can hate on Man U all you want but in 18 seasons since the Premiership was formed, United has won it 11 times. What's more impressive is they've done it under the watch of Sir Alex Ferguson during an era where clubs change managers almost every other year.

^^^^^I know you don't like it but it's a pretty impressive record.

    lol

I don't hate United because of their accomplishments. I hate them because when you ask 1 in 3 so called EPL "fans" who their favorite team is......its Manchester United. I doubt that most of them could even point out where Manchester is on a world map. Hell I doubt they could even name the majority of EPL teams!

I know most people are Man U haters but they will be playing in the US this summer. They are taking on the MLS all stars and will be playing a few other games as well. I will be seeing them in Kansas City July 25th.

Auto, that's true but before football gained any type of popularity in this country, Man U was and is the "name" in club football through out the world in the last 20 years. Winning will open the doors on the bandwagon.

I dont really hate ManU because for the most part they do what I like in regards to building a team (they groom a good number of players/sign starlets at a young age from other teams (IE Ronaldo and Rooney)

They dont do it to the same extent as a Barcelona, who basically have their own farm of stars to pick from year in and year out, but they arent like a team like Chelsea or Madrid who sign their way to titles.

I however was happy that Chelsea won even though I like ManU WAY more just because I am sick of the same team winning the EPL. If I followed the EPL as my #1 league (I follow La Liga first, then EPL) I wouldve wanted ManU to win.

    this.....
was hoping Columbus would be one of their stops when the tour was announced. I think Toronto and Philadelphia are on the schedule if I'm not mistaken, and will be the closest alternative for Ohioans.

I wouldn't look past City and Arsenal making it a true 4 team race next season in the EPL pending some summer player movement.

SOCCER ISN'T A SPORT!!! THE PLAYERS ARE MORE LIKE DANCERS THAN ATHLETES!!!

    ^^^^^^

LOL...I just read through the thread and I had to make up for the douche bags that usually have posted that by now.

I've been an avid ManU fan since I started to seriously follow Soccer, which was about 8 years ago (I think I was around 15 when I really took interest in it.)

I'm obviously upset that they couldn't 4-peat, but I mean the last 3 make up for this down year.

I do think we missed Ronaldo though.

Man U sucks balls...Chelsea is by far the best team in the Premiere League, maybe world. Drogba/Anelka combo is better than any other striker combo out there and I'm glad to see Tottenham in the top 4.
  • rock_knutne
^^^^^^In the world? Funny that they're not playing in the Champions League final.
