ummm no, the biggest gap is between the centers howard is way above everyone else. Durant and Melo are right behind Lebron.SQ_Crazies wrote:
Disagree, the gap between the best SF and the 2nd best is the biggest in the league. Howard is certainly the best C by a large margin though, but I agree with a few of the above who say Lopez will be right up there in a few years. Let us not forget, he's pretty damn good defensively as well and much more polished than Howard offensively already.Trueblue23 wrote:
I really hope you're joking.Crimson_Streak wrote: Give lopez a couple years and I think he will take over howards spot as best center I love his game. He's just not well known cause of the team he plays for
Dwight Howard is FINALLY starting to develop a back to the basket game.. while it may not be much, he is finally scoring by other ways than dunking.
The gap between #1 Center and #2 Center is the biggest gap in the NBA.
IMO, Bynum isn't as good as Bogut or Lopez BUT he'd be better than Howard if he wanted to be--I'm not thinking about injuries here because those are out of anyones control. His ceiling is higher than any C in the league IMO, but he has to just buckle down and be that guy. -
sleeperPG - Lebron James
SG - Wade
SF - Durant
PF - Duncan
C- Howard -
SQ_CraziesMelo and Durant aren't as close to LeBron as Lopez, Bynum and Bogut are Howard. Howard is a GREAT player but very overrated right now. People talk about him like he's Shaq, call him Superman. He's not. He's the best C in the league right now, and certainly still has a high ceiling but he isn't THAT good yet.
Lopez is one of the most underrated players in the league right now. It's because he plays on a shitty team, but he certainly did his thing to help that team win. -

Can you call Howard a superstar? yesSQ_Crazies wrote: Melo and Durant aren't as close to LeBron as Lopez, Bynum and Bogut are Howard. Howard is a GREAT player but very overrated right now. Can you call lopez a superstar? no, not even a star
Can you call Bogut a superstar? no, not even a star
Can you call Lebron a superstar? yes
Can you call Durant a superstar? yes
Can you call Melo a superstar? yes
game over, end of discussion -
Trueblue23When Melo has his head right he is REALLY damn good, which he showed in Cleveland this year.
-
jpake1The biggest gap is at the C position. Plain and simple, but that's just me.
-
SQ_CraziesLeBron can play all 5 positions incredibly effectively. Melo can't, Durant can't. Both are great players but that, and the fact that he's better than both in nearly all facets of the game and more well rounded than both for sure--well...that puts LeBron WAYYYY ahead of those guys IMO.
But I think LeBron is pretty much head and shoulders over the league right now. And that's not just me. Dwight Howard is vastly overrated with his lack of a dominant offensive game. He's no better offensively than Lopez or Bogut and neither are as far behind as the media would have you think they are defensively. Especially Bogut. He's got a TON of room to improve and is still very young...I expect him to be the best C in the league for quite awhile. But the gap isn't as big as the SF gap. We're talking about the best SF that has ever played the game, ALREADY. -
Trueblue23
And his team isn't playing very well right now and they're 2 losses away from another long summer. No one single talent can win a championship.SQ_Crazies wrote: LeBron can play all 5 positions incredibly effectively. Melo can't, Durant can't. SQ_CraziesWhy are you telling me that? I'm the guy who has always said that rings are a terrible argument when comparing players because it takes a team to win one.

everyone you are arguing against is always overrated to you, get some new materialSQ_Crazies wrote: LeBron can play all 5 positions incredibly effectively. Melo can't, Durant can't. Lebron cannot play a 5. I already thought Melo was a better scorer then Lebron and going by your own posts Durant is the best scorer in the game so Lebron might be better then them in alot of facets in the game but not the most important one.SQ_Crazies wrote: LeBron can play all 5 positions incredibly effectively. D12 offense is coming along. I like how you mention bogut is very young d12 is 24, Bogut is 25, so i would believe that Dwight has a ton of room to improve to. He is way above them defensively you are crazy to think it is close. Bogut has had one pretty good year and you think he will be the best center ahahahhahahahahahhahaha get the fuck outta with your lame ass fucking bullshit. -
Trueblue23Not to mention Dwight is the TWO TIME DEFENDING DPOY.
Dwight > Bogut
Howard is finally starting to develop a back to the basket game, which is really scary. -

Laley23PG - Deron

C - Dwight
Im a little surprised there isnt more love for Bosh at the PF slot. I think Amar'e, Bosh, and Pau are pretty interchangeable right now. I give the edge to Amar'e, but I really think that is the closest race of any position. Dirk is the best offensive player of all of them, but his game doesnt fly with me in the at the PF position. PG is tough since Paul hasnt been at the top of his game for a looooong time due to injury. -
