Best __ in the NBA?
-
Trueblue23PG- DWill
SG- Kobe
SF- LeBron
PF- Hmm...
C- Dwight
And you can take that to the bank -
hoops23Do you consider Pau Gasol a PF?
Because I think Bynum plays the C spot, so if you label Pau as a PF, I might take him as best PF.. -
SQ_CraziesPG: CP3
SG: Kobe/Wade tie.
SF: LeBron
PF: Gasol
C: Howard -
Trueblue23I couldn't decide between Gasol and Dirk.
Me personally, I'd take Gasol over Dirk any day of the week, but most people would disagree. -
wes_mantoothGasol...fo sho
-
SQ_CraziesGasol is a way better defender than Dirk. Dirk is a more well rounded offensive player but Gasol does everything you need a 4 to do very well anyways. I'm not big on big men shooting 3's, doesn't hold much weight with me. Physical teams that can own the paint win titles, not pussy finesse teams.
-
jpake1It's kind of odd most of us would take Gasol at PF. That isn't the sexy name.
Paul- still the best when healthy, Wade- i like his all around game better than kobe, probably bias, James- no comment, Gasol- isn't the sexy name compared to amare/bosh/dirk but he bangs down low better than any of those guys when you add defense into the mix, Howard- no comment. -
hoops23Dirk would be my 3rd PF, behind Pau and Amar'e..
I may even still take Tim Duncan over Dirk.. Just NOT a big Dirk fan. He's soft and doesn't have the "winners" mentality imo.
PG - DWill
SG - Kobe
SF - LeBron
PF - Pau Gasol
C- Dwight Howard

PG - CP3

SF - Durantula
PF - Amar'e
C - Andrew Bogut -

PF- Gasol

BENCH
PG- CP3
SG- DWade
SF- Durant
PF- Amare
C- Bynum -
hoops23Forgot about Bynum^ I think I'd still take Brook Lopez over him though. Brook has a 20/10 game written all over him (averaged 19/8 this season) and his game has so much more room for growth.
Bynum I feel, is what he is. A guy with big game potential but not consistent enough to do it for 82 games. He also has injury problems. -
wildcats20
what about Bogut? Is throw him in the mix for sureLTrain23 wrote: Dirk would be my 3rd PF, behind Pau and Amar'e..

C - (tough, because there really aren't a lot of top flight centers in the league) I guess you could look at Brook Lopez, Al Jefferson, or maybe Al Horford.. Though, the latter 2 are really PF's playing C for their respective teams. -
hoops23OMG!
I forgot about Bogut, smh...
Yeah, I'll revise that. -
2quik4uPG - LeBron
SG - Kobe
SF - Durant
PF - Pau Gasol
C - Dwight Howard
PG - CP3
SG - Wade
SF - Melo
PF - Amar'e
C - Bynum -
SQ_CraziesI actually like Bosh more than Amare.
I'd rank the PFs this way:
1. Gasol
2. Bosh
3. Amare
4. Duncan
5. Dirk
Duncan won't be top 5 next year though. -
3reppomPG Williams
SG Bryant
SF James
PF Bosh
C Howard -
lhslep134PG D-will
SG Kobe
SF Bron Bron
PF Gasol. As soon as the Lakers got him for essentially his brother and 2 first rounders, I thought to myself FUCK thats their missing piece
C Dwight Howard -
chs_redskinsPg: Deron Williams

Durant doesn't play PF, and if he did, he'd be ABUSED.chs_redskins wrote: Pg: Deron Williams

se-alumNo way is Bynum better than Bogut or Lopez. IMO, Gasol makes Bynum as good as he is.
PG- D-Will
SG- Bryant
SF- LBJ
PF- Gasol
C- Howard -
wildcats20se are you ranking Lopez ahead of Dwight?
-
Crimson_StreakGive lopez a couple years and I think he will take over howards spot as best center I love his game. He's just not well known cause of the team he plays for

Trueblue23
I really hope you're joking.Crimson_Streak wrote: Give lopez a couple years and I think he will take over howards spot as best center I love his game. He's just not well known cause of the team he plays for
Dwight Howard is FINALLY starting to develop a back to the basket game.. while it may not be much, he is finally scoring by other ways than dunking.
The gap between #1 Center and #2 Center is the biggest gap in the NBA. -
se-alum
No, my bad. I think Lopez is a more skilled center, but Dwights athleticism puts him over the top. I don't believe it's a huge gap though. They are even as offensive players, but Dwight is the better rebounder.wildcats20 wrote: se are you ranking Lopez ahead of Dwight? -
SQ_Crazies
Disagree, the gap between the best SF and the 2nd best is the biggest in the league. Howard is certainly the best C by a large margin though, but I agree with a few of the above who say Lopez will be right up there in a few years. Let us not forget, he's pretty damn good defensively as well and much more polished than Howard offensively already.Trueblue23 wrote:

IMO, Bynum isn't as good as Bogut or Lopez BUT he'd be better than Howard if he wanted to be--I'm not thinking about injuries here because those are out of anyones control. His ceiling is higher than any C in the league IMO, but he has to just buckle down and be that guy. -
2quik4u
ummm no, the biggest gap is between the centers howard is way above everyone else. Durant and Melo are right behind Lebron.SQ_Crazies wrote:
