Tribe vs. Twins

THE4RINGZOne run in the first two games, now someone lit a rocket under the Indain's O.
-
devil1197Their patient at the plate today.
-
devil11978-1

BRFWow! Great news!
-
THE4RINGZCertainly a great win. The bats finally came alive. Can they keep it up as they continue on this long road trip early in the season?
-
HitsRusThis kind of inconsistency is what you can expect from an inexperienced team.
How about Marte! -

Footwedge: I'm going to go back and look at the 1967 batting stats. I do remember the Tribe having a great pitching staff, which really showed through in 1968. -
newarkcatholicfanA good win today.

68 was even worse than 67. The hitless wonders had a team average of 235 with 115 dingers in 67. But in 68, they hit an eye poppin 234 as a team...while "smashing' a whopping 75 homers for the season.BRF wrote:

But you're right on the staff. Hargan, Siebert, Sudden Sam, and Louie Louie were awesome. Oh....and I think Ding Dong had done retired.
