Noah = AV....had the game of his life tonight.chicago510 wrote: Rose and Noah are the real deal. Nothing else on this team really scares anyone.
Hopefully we can win one at the UC for my sanity.
I think you can pretty much count on Rose to do his thing....if Chicago is to take game 3, they need a big game from Deng. -
chicago510And LeBron to maybe miss a shot or two. Nobody beats the Cavs when he plays like that.
The Bulls desperately need a 2 guard. Hinrich is not the answer. And a coach. -
ytownfootballFor as much disdain for Noah I have, he found himself in the right place at the right time to many times to be more than just coincidence. I'll stop short of giving him mad props but he did more than his share of damage.
-
3reppomI can't think of another time when the Cavs played Lebron, Andy, Mo, Delonte and Moon together but that lineup killed tonight. that 5 man group had to be +10 in the 4th.

Off topic, but does Chicago have the cap space to go after someone like Joe Johnson in the off season?chicago510 wrote: And LeBron to maybe miss a shot or two. Nobody beats the Cavs when he plays like that.

I think you need a one and move Rose to two and let him score.chicago510 wrote: And LeBron to maybe miss a shot or two. Nobody beats the Cavs when he plays like that.

Cleveland Buck
Yes they do. Or Dwayne Wade.wes_mantooth wrote:

SQ_CraziesIf you ask me, the Bulls look even weaker after tonights game.
What a demoralizing loss. You're close all game, you only turn the ball over FOUR times, you catch the Cavs on a shitty defensive night, you lead the Cavs in possessions by TWENTY TWO (count them, 22 big ones) and you still can't win the game?
Let's face it, the Cavs played like relative garbage for their own playoff standards and took the Bulls the best shot (if you think they can play better than that, you're nuts) and we still won the game. Stick a fork in them. -
2quik4uthey are the worst team in the playoffs

I was going to say the Bobcats or Portland (just due to injuries) but they pulled out a win last night.2quik4u wrote: they are the worst team in the playoffs -
Midstate01I hate noAh like everyone else, but he played a hell of a game tonight.
I don't think the cavs will lose a game in this series. -
chicago510Of course we're the worst team in the playoffs. We are 41-41 and we had to win like 8/10 just to get there.
This team is still a player away...the problem is we've been a player away since about 2006 and I've lost patience.
Where would this team be if they hadn't miraculously won the lottery and gotten Rose in '08? -
AutomatikRose is a straight player. I'd love to see him pair up with Wade.
-
chicago510I get why Wade wants to stay in Miami (its Miami, allegiance to Riley, etc.) but a Rose-Wade backcourt in both of their hometowns would be incredible.

That's like being the ugliest in a group of hot chicks. They're still a solid team. They played well tonight.2quik4u wrote: they are the worst team in the playoffs
When you're playing a defensive juggernaut like the Cavs and you only turn the ball over 4 times, you played well. -
Mr. 300Cavs will shore up the defense after this fiasco, but Chicago can look at this as a plus or minus. Either way, I can't wait for the next game.

Yea, I think the Cavs found something there. Honestly, this series is better suited for Andy and JJ than it is Shaq & Z. Play Shaq early to try to get Noah in some foul trouble, but AV and Hickson(though I know he won't be getting any time) should get the majority of the minutes @ center. Let's be honest, JJ's defense can't be any worse than Z's.3reppom wrote: I can't think of another time when the Cavs played Lebron, Andy, Mo, Delonte and Moon together but that lineup killed tonight. that 5 man group had to be +10 in the 4th. -
Midstate01If anyone watches first take this morning, post what skip bayless says about lebron last night. He was effecient and made his free throws. I don't know what he could pick on from last nights game. But I'm curious.

vdubb96Cowherd was just pretty much bashing the Cavs after last nights game. He said Lebron's cast basically goes away during the playoffs and it becomes a one man show. He said the Cavs are built for the regular season not the playoffs. He named Denver, Orlando and LA are all better than the Cavs.

Look at the statline, it's basically what was presented in the Orlando series last year. Thankfully for Cavs/fans, it was the Bulls last night/series.vdubb96 wrote: Cowherd was just pretty much bashing the Cavs after last nights game. I think the Cavs are treating this like a regular season series and are in cruise mode. We will see a different beast the next 3 rounds. They are on cruise control and the Bulls are trying their hardest...still going to be a 4 game sweep.vdubb96 wrote: Cowherd was just pretty much bashing the Cavs after last nights game. vdubb96^^^Hope your right!

SQ_CraziesI think this series should see plenty of JJ and Andy as well, but I really think they're trying to get Shaq back up to game speed. And guess what, we're still winning..so who the hell cares.
I'm interested in what he says too, but I'd imagine he gives him props. He does sometimes. Nothing negative you can say about the way LeBron played last night--most of his shots were jumpers too. He was on fire. It's amazing that he played that well and we really haven't acknowledged it much, it's just what he does.Midstate01 wrote: If anyone watches first take this morning, post what skip bayless says about lebron last night. He's not going to give him props... Skip was ripping on LeBron last night on twitter..SQ_Crazies wrote: I think this series should see plenty of JJ and Andy as well, but I really think they're trying to get Shaq back up to game speed. And guess what, we're still winning..so who the hell cares.

In fact, after the game he tweeted "Not impressed with LeBron tonight, in fact, if I were a Cavs fan I'd be worried" -
devil1197Cowherd is dead wrong imo. The role players stepped up huge last night for Cleveland offensively. The reason why this game was close was because Chicago played with more intensity. The Bulls could not afford to go down 0-2 against Cleveland.
Cleveland's bench numbers:
11 of 19 for 57% FG
4 of 6 for 66% 3P
29 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks
Cleveland's role player numbers:
Jamison 6 of 12 for 50% FG, 14 points 4 rebounds 3 assists
Parker 3 of 5 for 60% 3P, 9 points 1 rebound 1 steal 1 block
Shaq 2 of 4 in only 15 minutes due to foul trouble.
The only guy who had an off night offensively was Williams who was 2 of 8 but he was also 8 of 14 in Game 1 for 19 points. Everyone else minues Williams shot 55% from the field.
