Ironman92....3-2.....another ball if he let's it go
-
Ironman92I'm really smart.
COrdero is not. -
CinciX12I LOVE the Cincinnati Reds. I'm drinking so I can't remember this.
-
Ironman92Stubborn much Cordero?
-
CinciX12This guy is due, he will beat us.
-
CinciX12Christ if he hit a guy to lose the game..
-
Ironman92The dirt around the infield track is amazing.
-
Ironman92Pirates WIN!
-
CinciX12Whew, good thing we only lost 5-4 and not 8-4.
-
HereticThank you Mr. Cordero!!!!
Pirates are above .500! -
Ironman92^^^^^told you....I said 6-4 with Cueto being inefficient
-
jordo212000Another win/potential win taken away by the bullpen.
-
Ironman92That's true....but only scoring 4 agaisnt the pitchers they faced is lose-worthy as well.

The offense is nowhere where it needs to be, but when you have the lead in the bottom of the 9th, you're supposed to win.Ironman92 wrote: That's true....but only scoring 4 agaisnt the pitchers they faced is lose-worthy as well. -
Heretic
Last year in a brief stint, McCutchen showed the ability to be a bottom-end starter/long relief sort of guy (like Owings for you...without the bat). The sort of guy who can give you some quality starts and wins, but never will really be anything special. In two starts this year, he's not showing that. He seems to crack mentally the minute something goes wrong and pitches scared.Ironman92 wrote: Dustyball plate approaches.
McCutchen is not a big league pitcher.....had nothing.
Cueto....not efficient at all.
If only Brad Lincoln was ready or Kevin Hart wasn't so control-challenged...it's amazing we have a winning record with only one starter pitching well, a questionable bullpen and barely anyone who can hit with any consistency. -
Ironman92McCutchen must change sppeds more often to even be Micah Owings......but he certainly could I'm sure or he'd be on here typing with us.

That statement about the Pirates now would have been very true for the Reds also when they were 5-3 five days ago. I suspect it won't be too long either before the Pirates are 3 games under .500.
