Reds @ Pirates.....Game 2
-
Ironman92Reds face a no namer Brian Burres.
I honestly see no chance of winning. Heretic thinks the Reds will score 8.....apparently he's never watched the Reds face a nobody pitcher. -
CinciX12I'm excited to watch the future hall of famer Brian Burres tonight.
-
Ironman92Now they are saying Daniel McCutchen will pitch for the Pirates...he's 0-1 with a 24.5 ERA.
Pirates 6
Reds 4
Cueto will pitch for the Reds....another unefficient pitch count night I'd guess. -
HereticI'd rather see McCutchen than Burres. Burres is a nobody with no future; McCutchen possibly also is, but hasn't had enough time to prove it, yet. He was solid (not good, but respectable) as a late call-up last year, but just got shelled in his first start this year. Hopefully, he settles down tonight.
-
End of Line^^^^What he said.
-
CinciX12His ERA will lower to <1.50 tonight. Perfect game.
-
osu45804Reds are up 1-0 .... didn't see how they scored though
-
osu45804Well 1-1 now
-
RotinajReds really need this one to stay in the wildcard race.
-
osu458042-1 Pirates w/ the bases loaded still
-
CinciX12Somehow its 3-2 Pitt. At this point I don't care.
Cueto is awful. -
CinciX12Pittsburgh fans are chanting USA. Probably because of Votto being on 2nd. The announcers can't comprehend this.
-
CinciX12Tie game off a sac fly by Bruce to score Votto.
-
HereticFive innings of our bullpen...you could finish in double digits scoring tonight. At least if Phillips doesn't enter moron-mode on the basepaths again.
For my sake, I hope you guys bring in Ondrusak, so we can have a 3-5 run inning. -
HereticQuestion for people watching on FS Ohio:
When/if you go to strip clubs, have often do you actually see people act as over-the-top dorky as that dude in the Dreamgirls commercial? -
CinciX12I swear to God this team is going to give me more migraines this summer than ever before.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SCORE RUNS GOD DAMNIT -
swamisezReds again will have one player flirting with .300 (Joey Votto)
The bottom line is this team cannot hit the baseball, sure it is obvious but what is shocking is that last year the Angels had 7 guys in their lineup who hit over .300. How is it the Reds can't seem to hit the baseball? Is this team that poorly assembled offensively? -
Ironman92Dustyball plate approaches.
McCutchen is not a big league pitcher.....had nothing.
Cueto....not efficient at all. -
Ironman92This game may fall the Reds way in the end of not....but the Pirates pulling a LaRussa and batting the pitcher 8th bit them hard. Pirates had 2 runs in, 2 outs and 2 on.....walked the bases loaded on purpose and got the pitcher out on a 12 footer.........next batter hits a HR to leadoff the next inning. You don't know how that would've went down with 2 on and the #7 hitter up with a normal #8 to follow......but it obviously could've been a lot worse than it was having to face a pitcher.
I think batting the pitcher 8th is idiotic with way more negatives than positives. -
CinciX12this is not happening..
-
CinciX12yup..its happening
-
Ironman92COrdero is as efficient as Cueto
-
Ironman92Out by a mile..good choice
-
Ironman92I wouldn't swing if I was Milledge.....he'll walk you
-
CinciX12
Pirate fans are dumb. At least the ones at PNC tonight booing.Ironman92 wrote: Out by a mile..good choice
