Twitter Banner
-
Laley23As we try to move the Twitter/Social Media aspect of The OC forward, I wanted to get a banner for the Twitter handle of Ohio's Mount Rushmore sports figures. As a side note, once we figure out the four, can anyone Photoshop them into a Mount Rushmore? Photoshop is my biggest weaknesses on a computer lol
Let's take some nominations (top 4), and if we don't have a clear majority 4, I'll put up a vote. Can be professionals who impacted the state, guys from here, just has to have a significant tie to Ohio.
LeBron
Jack Nicklaus
Jesse Owens
Jim Brown
Those are my four nominees. Might not be bad to get someone like Pete Rose, or Jimmy Jackson or something to represent more of the state, but whatever we vote on we will do. -
Con_AlmaAll you nominated are certainly worthy.
Edwin Moses dominated at the world level for more than a decade. Didn't lose over the course of a decade including world championships and Olympic games. It's a pretty tough resume to comprehend. Worth considering. -
Ironman92LeBron
Nicklaus
Rose
I'll go with Brown as my 4th because this has a strong Cleveland group of posters -
like_thatDamn, Ohio has too many choices to have a Mt Rushmore. I would be fine with Laley or Ironman's rushmore.

It is crazy. The fact that some of the records (18 majors, most hits, Browns YPC, etc) don't make them all shoe-ins is pretty remarkable. As I was typing I kept wondering how I could exclude so and so.like_that;1837391 wrote:Damn, Ohio has too many choices to have a Mt Rushmore. I would be fine with Laley or Ironman's rushmore. -
Fab4RunnerAlso fine with either.
I thought this was going to be you asking what our own personal banners are. I am very proud of my Superbad picture, lol. -
IliketurtlesI feel like Jesse Owens, Jack Nicklaus, and Lebron James are my top 3 for sure in. As for the 4th I'll go with someone different and say Paul Brown.

If you want to make it tougher you can add coaches to the competition as well.Laley23;1837393 wrote:It is crazy. like_thatAlso, I like the idea of Rose, because it gives the impression that we aren't strictly a NEOH board.

This is a fantastic nomination. Browns and Bengals ties, as well as Massillon/Ohio HS Football ties.Iliketurtles;1837395 wrote:I feel like Jesse Owens, Jack Nicklaus, and Lebron James are my top 3 for sure in. As for the 4th I'll go with someone different and say Paul Brown. -

Commander of AwesomeHow about 2016 NBA Finals Championship Trophy, 1990 WS Trophy, 2002 & 2014 CFB Championship Trophies, and Jessie Owens Olympic medals?
Background could be Browns 8 NFL Championship Trophies. -

I would probably go Woody as my 4th. -
BRFJesse Owens
Jack Nicklaus
