  I want to talk to a lawyer, but I just want your opinions. I just want to know how long I have to seek compensatory punitive damages, or to seek retribution for the costs we are eating that may not be covered in the agreement, as well as the mental and emotional anguish that my wife has been put through. Can I decide in a month that I want to go after these idiots, since I didn't file a police report? The vet took very thorough documentation and pictures of the incident. We are just getting more and more pissed as every day passes.

  But I don't think there is a statue of limitations of seeking civil damages. And since it just happened last week, you have plenty of time.

  We were in our pasture (closed in, thank God) last night with one of our horses and our dogs. Shit head neighbors have their (other) stupid pit bull out "training" it. My dog, being a dog, barks, and that dog takes off towards the pasture. All I see when I looked up was this fucking animal charging. I don't know if it was, but that is all I saw. Fucker got shocked big time and squealed like a little bitch (no pun) and ran off. Scared the shit out of me, probably more-so than the first time, even though there was no blood shed. Fucking asshole neighbors came over to talk to my wife and daughter. "haha, did that scare you!!!???" They were so proud that their dog got shocked. They are too fucking stupid to see the horror of the situation on our end. They think it's over, but they don't realize that we now have to live in our own home in fear.

  Donald Cisneros said his wife, Barbara Cisneros, was having an ordinary afternoon when she heard the family’s dog, part German shepherd and part beagle, cry and howl in their backyard. A pit bull, Cisneros said, sneaked into the backyard and attacked their dog, which was tied to the back door. By the time the pit bull was chased away, their dog had already sustained serious injuries.

  From hospital room man tells of seeing his flesh flying during pit bull attack
  KALAMAZOO, MI-- I'm learning to be ambidextrous," Ron Bardo quipped from his hospital room at Bronson Methodist Hospital Thursday morning.
  Both of Bardo's hands and forearms are heavily bandaged, but the injuries to his right arm and hand are far more extensive than his left, he said.
  Bardo, an MRI technician, is right-handed.
  The pit bull that attacked him Wednesday morning "came essentially out of nowhere' to latch on to his right arm, knocking Bardo from his bicycle just a few blocks from home.
  Bardo and his wife had planned to go car shopping Wednesday to replace the vehicle they had recently had to junk, and he rode his bike to the credit union to get the necessary paperwork.
  "I had no warning just whoompf, he was there," Bardo said, the dog's jaws clamped to Bardo's right wrist, shaking its head as it snarled and continued to worry his arm and hand.
  The only time the dog stopped, Bardo said, it was as if it needed to take a breath before resuming the attack.

  Because they are stupid freaking rednecks. To them, "they had control of the dog." It's not that they don't care how it's affecting us, they're way too stupid to realize the traumatic experience that still lives with us. To them, this is all over. To them, they are partial "victims," because they had to put down their precious pit, even though he did that horrible thing. They cannot see the forrest for the trees.
  
  Sleeper, go fuck yourself. These dogs are a straight dead end breed. They belong contained, on a leash, or in doors.

  Man I love dogs but that bread I would never trust around my family. They do not know how to stop and will continue to fight to the death. I hate to say any bread should be stopped but that would be the one for me.
  
  Ernest...I feel your pain and you have every right to feel that way. I would too. What happens if that shock does not work you and your family members could be killed by that dog.
