Bachelor(ette) Parties

    Let's discuss them.

What's typical bach party etiquette? I think strippers should be involved. But only lady strippers. Male strippers make me very uncomfortable.

Are you actually allowed to have one last fling before tying the knot? Or no? Like I realize it's cheating, but if my fiancé got a blow j I don't really think I'd care. I guess I'm just wondering if that ever really happens, or if it's more of a cliché.

    Let's hear thoughts.

If you have to have "one last fling", then I suspect you are not really ready for actual lifelong commitment. Fidelity begins the day you offer or accept the ring. Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk. Cheaters are like leopards...they don't change their spots.

I am sure that it happens and most guys don't feel bad about it. The girl is probably a whore so it doesn't count

That's pretty much how I felt about it

I had some friends get thrown out of a wedding because of the stripper. I don't know if they fucked her or what but I know she did a handstand and one of them went down on her because everyone kept putting there hands over their mouths (think like Wilson from the home improvement) and saying that's all you could see of him.

Lol you'd be fine if your fiancé got a blowjob weeks before your wedding? Yikes.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not saying it to be a cool girl. I'm just not a typical broad. People are different. Whether it's open relationships, etc., I won't judge.

I'm a pretty old-fashioned kinda guy. Nothing crazy happened at my bachelor party and nothing crazy at my wife's bachelorette party. We both just had a great time with our friends.

Last time in a long time I've had all my real close friends in one setting together. I wouldn't want to share it with anyone else, especially some stripper.

If you and your fiance are on the same page with what's cool and isn't, then who cares. I think nearly hooking up with a stripper is a little extreme, but if you both can move onto a happy marriage afterwards, then go nuts.

IMO the type of guy who would hook up with a random stripper a couple of months or less before his wedding is not the type of guy ready for marriage. It doesn't really matter if you'd be "fine with it" in my mind. He should be able to say no thanks at this point, unless you two are planning on having an open relationship with the same rules after you've tied the knot.

LOL, no you don't get to have one last "fling."
  • Fab4Runner
This is all purely hypothetical, lol. Neither of us plan on doing anything crazy.

I was actually listening to the radio, and this dude said he went to a bachelor party that ended in a hotel room with prostitutes for each guy. I thought it sounded a little extreme, so it got me thinking.

...I put together a bachelor party for one of my buddies some years ago and we raffled of a bj with the stripper & got the groom all worked up making him think it was rigged for him to win just to see how he'd react to getting head in front of everyone. He was pretty drunk & up for anything but when the time came, we pulled the switch on the winning ticket & it was his future father in law that won. Only the stripper and me knew what was going to happen since I was going to toss her a little extra $$$ for playing along....It was pretty funny watching everyone's faces when the winner was announced....especially his father in law who wanted the bj!

I would hope that both you and bf had your flings long before getting into a relationship or the commitment to each other. There two foods you never share with anyone taco and corn dog there a reason for this. Hope this helps

Maybe in the big cities....Here in BFE, otherwise known as "God's Country" the bachelorette party consists of renting a party bus and bar-hopping with the bride wearing a silly hat with condoms hanging off of it. Bachelor parties consist of getting drunk...not much more. I totally don't get these trips to Vegas as a bachelor party.....

This. I've never heard of bachelor parties where it's okay to cheat on your fiancé. I've not heard that once. It's, like others have said, a night to get incredibly wasted with your friends.

I'm the farthest thing from a prude but that "one last fling" thing doesn't sound like things would end well.... but to each their own.

Several years ago two co-workers of mine became engaged. At his bachelor party, he screwed one of the strippers. Now what are the odds that everyone at that party (including her brother) is gonna keep their mouth shut? Obviously she found out. End of wedding.

If you aren't all in by the time of the bachelor(ette) party, you shouldn't be getting married.

I did the Vegas thing for my bachelor party. It was pretty awesome. Went with a couple buddies. We hit up a couple pool parties and did the bottle service thing at a bar in our hotel. None of us did anything crazy, no Hangover stories, but we still had our fun.

The wife had a terrible bachelorette party. Her sister planned it and her sister is a total prude. I think they played board games and watched movies.

I went to one a few years ago where the bride was the DD. She planned it herself and was totally cool with this arrangement.

I've seen/heard of many types of bachelor/bachelorette parties. Surprisingly, the ones with strippers (male, usually) more times than not involve the bachelorettes. I see more & more guys doing golf outings with dinner afterward or something like that. Many times with no strippers involved.

I'm more old school in that I'd probably do a more traditional type (w/strippers) if I were a best man again.

My wife hates strip clubs and I really do not care for them either. My friends were all mad that I said none of this for my party. We went to Cincinnati becasue at the time no other casinos in OH ( we had done Winsor multiple times previous for other parties) . I thought that would help distract my friends from no strip clubs. We had a great time bar hoping Friday night, then Reds game Saturday and at Casino Saturday night.

A couple of my friends tried to surprise me and bring a couple of strippers (they were fugly) to the hotel Friday night. I just told them to have fun and then left and went to another room we had booked at the hotel.

One of the only single guys brought a drunk girl back from the bar, had sex with her, and then kicked her out. She tried to get the hotel sercurity to let her back into our room. When they came to the door we told them we never saw her before and they then kicked her out of the hotel.

Yeah I'm with everyone else about the no "fling" before the wedding. But I also say if you and your significant other are cool with it then go for it.

We did a weekend thing at a friends house for mine. Cedar point then beer pong 1st day, Bowling, Casino, Strip Club the next day, then just hanging out the last day at the house.

Did the father in law get a bj in front of everyone? I don't know about everyone else but I try to go out of my way not to piss off my mother in law. I can't imagine that her husband getting a bj at the Bachelor party would be a good start to the relationship
