What do you actually do with the lottery winnings?

    Put as enough away so my kids and grandkids never have to worry about money - then try and die with no money left. I'd still work so I wouldn't go crazy, but I'd definitely have a lot of luxuries.

    Had this chat with the wife last night. Fun dreaming...it may be in this order too.

    Put it into an account to grow, first thing (hire someone to help me with this).
    Family vacation to Europe
    Pay off debt (house and student loans)
    Give some to family and friends
    Move where we want to
    Probably start a brewery and soccer club
    Enjoy life

    Pay off my student loans, house, car, hospital bills, and pay for my masters.
    Pay off my gf's car, I would then sell that car and buy her a car that i don't hate
    Pay off my brother-in-laws hospital bills. Pay off their car and house payments.
    Pay off my other sister/BIL's house, car, hospital, etc.
    Pay off whatever debt my parents have (probably just hospital bills)
    Set up investment accounts for my daughter, niece, nephew and future kids.
    Set up investments where my money will keep growing.

    Once all practical things are taken care of and I minimize monthly payments for my immediate family, I'd begin having some fun:
    Plan a big vacation for my family.
    Plan, really plan, the perfect house. I'd spend significant amount of time on this.
    Visit various places, go to stadiums I've never been to

    Also, I'd keep working initially. Once I am confident in my investments, I'd probably "retire" and work as a substitute teacher. Work when and how much I want.

    My(GFs) hospital bills are from my daughters birth. My sister is also having a child this month. These aren't very big, but still a monthly bill.
    My brother-in-law was in a pretty big accident and had to be life flighted. His are pretty big.
    My mom and dad are old so they have enough hospital bills that are pretty consistent. Add in that my dad had prostate cancer surgery over the summer.

    I would take a vacation and buy some property in DC for starters. The little things in life will change, which to me would be the biggest bonus out of it. I know a lot of people say this, but my intention would be not to really change my current life style. I for sure would not be working though.

    That's about it. I'm sure travel and a few other things but I wouldn't know how to spend that much.

    ...With PB now at 800 million, first trip would be with my wife (she picks the destination & duration of the trip), then my son & I go on a tour of all the best golf couses in the world & have the Golf Channel follow our trek round the globe.

    After that, buy my own golf course similar to this course in Palm Springs, CA. If anyone doesn't replace their divot's I tell them to "get off my lawn"!

    Lifetime season tickets to my favorite sports teams
    Upgraded home and cars

    After that, I'm sure I'd travel and do some luxurious things, but the above are things I'd really want to do.
