  I say it has to be Daryl or Glenn. Kind of sounded like Glenn's wimpering, or Eugene I suppose. But no one like or cares about Eugene - would be incredibly lame if it was Eugene after all the build-up and speculation.

  What a cheap-ass ending. The intro of Negan was enough. They didn't have to leave such a weak cliff-hanger. Although I'm wondering if they did it intentionally not knowing where Norman Reedus is heading and buying time for him to make that decision.

  That sound was brutal though. Not a lot happened in the episode, but it was still suspenseful. I think it's either Glenn or Daryl but hoping it's Aaron. Nobody cares about him.

  That was a lame finale. Likely the worst one in the shows' history. This season had so much promise and the last 4 episodes went to shit...I was disappointed.
  
  The cliffhangers they do are ridiculous and unnecessary. The show has a large enough following that they can tell us what happens and we will still tune in next season.
  
  My guess on Negan's victim is either Glenn (because of the comic) or Maggie.

  Yeah, Eugene or Aaron would be a cop out. Daryl would be huge.

  All the people bellying/pissing about the cliffhanger. The cliffhanger was BRILLIANT. Look at all the talk/debate about who Negan knocked off. The cliffhanger isn't for the fanboys that are running to message boards and bickering about who died last night. The cliffhanger is for all the fringe followers who tune in and might not tune back in next season. Let's not forget this is a show... show's = business. businesses = money. The difference between a 17.29 and a 14.63 is staggering (if you're wondering what those numbers are, those are the viewership counts (in millions) for Season 5 vs. Season 6 premiere). You can bet your ass the Season 7 premiere will be huge now. So suck it up. Yeah it's going to suck having to wait 6 months to find out who we lost, but the suspense is staggering and deep down we all love it (I'm sure).

  I disagree. The general rule is a character isn't dead until you know they're dead. GoT did it the right way with Jon Snow. TWD was terrible - the ending literally added nothing to the previous several minutes. All the ending did was fail miserably at an attempt to create a dramatic first-person experience.

  Interesting. I will say, however, that I don't think there is any way they kill off Carl. They knew people were going to see that, it's a clue to throw people off.
  
  Carl is the main character of the comic book. If they kill him off, they have to rewrite the whole script.
  
  I'm banking on Glenn still (or Maggie).

  It'd make sense to be Glenn, though its a terrible way to kill him. A character like Glenn deserves a good death scene that you actually know who it was.

  I hated he whole last two episodes. Some of the writing and plot was just choppy or dumb. Getting out of the RV was so dumb and Rick is an average to awful leader.
  
  The cliffhanger was cheesy as hell as well. Way to build it up and then fail to deliver. A better ending would be we see who gets cracked and we finish with a shot of shock from Rick's face, then black. That would have been better, but oh well.
  
  I also say it is either Glenn or Daryl who met Lucille. Glenn, as it makes sense from the comics. Daryl as he was already teased as being killed in the last episode. Plus, the end shot was 1st person. Throughout the episode we saw various dark/ sunlight shots from 1st person that ended up being Daryl locked away So, the theme was already there.

  It was either Sasha or Aaron, at least as it was shown on TV.
  
  I don't think it will be them ultimately, but assuming Negan didn't teleport somewhere else along the line unseen by the viewer...then he ended-up between Carl and Rick when he started swinging.

  I had no problem with the cliffhanger. My guess is the frustration comes at having to wait 6 months to find out who it was.

  Apparently this is floating around now, someone leaked the extra ending audio http://hellogiggles.com/walking-dead-leaked-audio-tape-supposedly-reveals-died-end-season-finale/ people are saying it's Glen. He eventually has to go, he's escaped so many situations where he should be gone.

  I heard this... I listened and I couldn't pick up anything definitive . I can see how people are making these stretch claims... put to me, they're purely that - stretches.

  I think to truly have a devastating effect it has to be Glen or Daryl.
  
  It won't be Rick or Carl. Abraham, Sascha, Eugene, Rosita and Aaron aren't "Major" characters.
  
  So that leaves Michonne, Glen, Daryl, and Maggie. Rick has had too many love interest die so I think Michonne is safe. I can't see them bludgeoning a pregnant woman to death. Glen is too easy because of comic so I think Daryl for one main reason.
  
  1. Blowing up Negans men with a rocket launcher. Someone was probably hiding and saw it go down and reported it to Negan.

  Personally, if it's not Carl I might be done lol. This show goes nowhere, which is annoying enough and I've hated him forever. If they kill him, I'll keep up, if not, fuck this show and Carl.

  The shadow on Rick's face indicates Negan moved to Rick's left....according to what we saw (disregarding editing enables any possibility) it's either Sasha or Aaron.
  
  I'm growing the opinion that they will double-up...it's Aaron or Sasha and everyone goes "whew!", but then Negan isn't done and beating Glenn or Daryl will be the shocking and dramatic opening to next season.
  
  One other [probably] meaningless insight....in the comic book Negan says "HE'S taking it like a champ", but it seems they dropped the "HE". You wouldn't think it would be a woman, but then they didn't actually show a woman being bludgeoned.
