Freddie Gray/Baltimore Riots
-
HitsRusYeah we get it...it's kind of like when the media fixates on an incident caused by one or two bad cops and indicts the entire police force. Obviously, there is no defending the bad cops, The point is every one is acting like the entire criminal justice system is bad, when almost everyone else is doing their jobs well and with fairness to all.
Is that it? -

The difference is people support the one or two bad cops b/c they're cops and they killed someone who you see "probably deserved it anyways". People don't support criminal rioters. -

SportsAndLadyI've been watching the news for the last hour and there hasn't just been one street corner shown. I have no idea where you are getting that from.

Well surprise surprise, Freddie wasn't an innocent sweet baby angel. He was a drug dealer.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724629 wrote:The difference is people support the one or two bad cops b/c they're cops and they killed someone who you see "probably deserved it anyways". People don't support criminal rioters.

Cool. So a bunch of drug offenses. No violent crimes. And you justify his death that way. I know I can always count on you for that lol.sleeper;1724634 wrote:Well surprise surprise, Freddie wasn't an innocent sweet baby angel. He was a drug dealer. -

Well perhaps CNN aren't psychics and can't predict when and where there will be riots so they can set up cameras accordingly?ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724635 wrote:strictly from watching cnn lastnight.

But perhaps CNN has more than one crew there, yet only stayed on one shot for an hour? That make any sense too? -
SportsAndLadyBurglary, trespassing, robbery, assault...nothing to see here folks, just a good boy who liked to deal a little drugs on the side of his 9-5.

Yep, I'm sure it would be a great idea to send a camera crew to a Baltimore street corner to film gang members burning a building down in the middle of the night with no idea how bad it is or is going to be.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724641 wrote:But perhaps CNN has more than one crew there, yet only stayed on one shot for an hour? The point, which you're so obviously missing, is they do have more than 1 crew there. just like they did in ferguson and everywhere else there's trouble. And yet for an hour yesterday couldn't find anything more than 1 area to report.SportsAndLady;1724644 wrote:Yep, I'm sure it would be a great idea to send a camera crew to a Baltimore street corner to film gang members burning a building down in the middle of the night with no idea how bad it is or is going to be.

I'm wondering what your point is zwick? Are you suddenly the defender of poor dumb people on the chatter?ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724645 wrote:The point, which you're so obviously missing, is they do have more than 1 crew there. just like they did in ferguson and everywhere else there's trouble. ZWICK 4 PREZI like how they're reporting Freddie's arrest record and not conviction record. If he was convicted for even some of the arrests he'd be in prison right now due to turning into felonies.

But this morning there was about a dozen shots of different street corners/buildings being destroyed. So your point is completely wrong. Just because they didn't have multiple live shots doesn't mean there wasn't action on different corners.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724645 wrote:The point, which you're so obviously missing, is they do have more than 1 crew there. just like they did in ferguson and everywhere else there's trouble. The points pretty obvious. I see police excessive force as a real problem in our country. Most of this site doesn't.DeyDurkie5;1724648 wrote:I'm wondering what your point is zwick? Are you suddenly the defender of poor dumb people on the chatter? -

A real problem? Come on this happens less than 1% of the time. Yet the media wants to act like this is a common occurrence.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1724651 wrote:The points pretty obvious. I see police excessive force as a real problem in our country. Most of this site doesn't. -

It gets reported when someone dies. It happens everyday but someone didn't happen to die. It doesn't happen less than 1% of the time.Ytowngirlinfla;1724652 wrote:A real problem? Come on this happens less than 1% of the time. Yet the media wants to act like this is a common occurrence.
I'll absolutely agree there's more good police officers than bad ones. But there's enough bad ones to be concerned with.
Was it reported on here about the rookie cop who told on his partner for turning off his POV camera to beat the shit out of a guy? If it was, I didn't see it. And they kind of shit happens EVERY DAY. Usually partners don't tell on each other though.
