    Never heard of Monero. There are too damn many crypto's to keep track of. I might throw a few grand at Ethereum and see what happens.

    Got the Fusion I was looking at. Essentially a non-new new car, as it's a '15, but only had 5000 miles on it, so I basically paid 4K less than I would for a new one (after rebates) to only get saddled with a handful of miles. Luxury package, too, so after driving "no frills other than stereo and air/heat" cars for my whole life, I now have all the computerized stuff.

    If it hadn't still been there, it would have been a longer search, as there were a few new cars I was interested in checking out; but since the one I was most interested in was available, I jumped on it as soon as I'd test-drove it.

    I heard about it about five months ago. Its blockchain tracks less than BTC, so I assumed that those interested in privacy would gravitate toward it in time.

    Bought in at about $35 months ago. It's hit as high as $92 per, but it's currently around $78-80.

    Theoretically, if a person owns only one gun and shoots said firearm at you, your risk of getting hit is at a certain level, with several factors coming into play: ability, aim, recoil, number of rounds in the clip, etc.

    If that same person buys a second gun and uses it at the same time, technically your risk of getting hit now doubles - twice as many rounds coming at you.

    But you're right, it doesn't compute - that additional risk would be negated by the reduced accuracy without a stabilizing hand, fatigue in the non-dominant hand, core muscles trying to move in opposite directions, etc. - unless you're John Wick, maybe.

    Of course, if the vast, vast majority of the population never gives a gun owner a reason to want to discharge the weapon, the risk to them becomes nil, regardless of the number of owned weapons.

    Yeah, did same thing buying a 2015...mine was about $6,000 less than new and it will last as long as I care to keep it.

    Maybe what he's saying, and this is just me playing devil's advocate (the saying, not the poster), is that, with the way Justin runs this site, how can one NOT wind up threatening his life? A man can only hear "Wednesday" so many times before snapping.

    Ok, I lol'd a bit, but there is a big difference between taking a couple chairs off a completely open porch and stealing very well secured fire arms.

    I love my 2013 Fusion. Prior to buying it, the newest car I had ever owned was a 2004, so I know what you mean about the no frills.

    Sad part is, Belly's would be one of the better more coherent posts in the thread.
